It’s another splinterlands week, and to be honest I was a bit hesitant on writing this post because of how many losses I’ve had. Even in the guild brawls I didn’t record a single win even after spending that much on cards and wasn't able to get the kind of cards I usually get for even lesser prices. It is at this point I will take a bow from the modern league and play with the cards I have got in the wild league which I haven’t visited in over six months. I joined the modern league because I found it more competitive but right now, I will say that league is for the big boys, and I’m just a small fish in a mountain of whales. It’s also safe to say the modern league has delt with me so much and now I must do everything to gain back what I have lost but not before talking about my final games.

My final games were a total loss because I had to surrender before the games even began and that was also because I wasn’t having the summoners for the battles. However, I am compensated by the fact that I had some wins with the cards I had which gives me hope for this new season. I will be renting some summoners tough but I think that will be just a preventive measure for the new season so I don’t experience the same thing I experienced in my final days of this season that got me frustrated. I always like to think that a chance is better than no chance, that is I will be getting the summoners to stand a chance of winning some games this season. I will also try to avoid some of the mistakes I made last season that made me lose before the season even began and one of those mistakes was not checking out for the new updates in the game after being away for a while.

I just went into the market and began selecting cards without even checking the prices because I was familiar with those cards and expected the prices to be the same. This time I will ensure to get familiar with all the changes in the wild league and go as far as even asking friends who play there to tell me their experiences so I can prepare for what comes next. I will also make sure I don’t go into the market blindly as I did last season, I will try to find out what summoners best work for every element so that I don’t end up buying summoners I don’t use. After that I will watch a lot of the top battles in the wild league to get a glimpse of how it is to lead the league in this current period. If I see it’s something I can afford to do, I will go for it, but if I see it’s something that I can’t afford to do, I do, I won’t mind waiting till next season and preparing all my arsenals to stand a better chance of winning.

Before I end this, I will also like to reflect on how I won my last battle (which I shared last week) Yeah it’s been a week since I had a significant win. Well I wasn’t expecting to win that game because of the kind of cards my opponent used. And even if we both used level two cards, I had more card depth due to the number of health my first two cards had. And this is one of the lessons I will be entering the new season with. I will try to make use of my cards the best way I can and always ensure to have card depth if I can.

POWER UP DAY

It’s another Power up day, and I decided to join (I haven’t joined in a while) by powering up my HP with 10 hive. This month I would like to gain an additional 200 HP which I know is possible because I will be joining the power up month challenge.
