How to Swap Shielded ZEC Using LeoDex Swap Accounts

Hey everyone, I wanted to make a quick tutorial on how to use https://leodex.io to swap ZEC using the new "Swap Accounts" feature we built. This feature abstracts the complexity of the cross-chain user experience away from the end user.

It makes it so easy to swap. The tagline I like to use is "if you can send it, you can swap it".

While looking for ways to support more ZEC wallets and shielded ZEC, our team came up with this solution called "Swap Accounts".

A Swap Account is essentially a Keystore inside of your browser that allows you to do a swap and then ditch the Keystore immediately after. From a User Experience point of view, it is literally as easy as sending ZEC with a QR Code.

Future Features On the Way

We've got many more features on the way for Swap Accounts. ZEC swaps is just the first of many. The Zcash community has been super welcoming to LeoDex and currently accounts for some of the largest volumes to our interface for Maya Protocol - where ZEC is listed.

Swap Accounts is our way of showing the love back to them by supporting:

  1. ALL ZEC-Compatible Wallets
  2. Shielded and Transparent ZEC
  3. A 10x Better UX of Cross-Chain

We're working on Perps and other amazing features on LeoDex and all of these things will have a future tie-in with Swap Accounts to bring you the best cross-chain DEX experience imaginable.

Try out the new QR 2 Swap Feature with Swap Accounts on https://leodex.io now! Just load up a ZEC swap and you'll see the new button. Or click this link to directly fill a ZEC Swap Input/Output: https://leodex.io/?in_asset=ZEC.ZEC&out_asset=ETH.ETH

You can (optionally) use my referral code for 11.11% off on all your swaps on LeoDex! https://leodex.io/?ref=khal
