I drew a picture of Toby. Since Toby is learning to play the piano, I also drew a piano in this picture. In the past, I used to draw people and instruments on separate layers. Today, I didn't separate the layers, but drew them on a single layer.

The final step was to paint the figure. I drew the shirt in dark red and painted it in light gray. I painted his pants in blue. I painted his shoes and glasses in black.
