Nightmare and Chaos packs in the discount!! I'm a buyer!
Hmmm, interesting times these are if you are a collector of Splinterlands cards. I was looking on the internal market sales of packs and to my surprise some of the packs are very much in the discount at the moment.
Now that might be a signal of what kind of state the game is in at the moment. Or on the other hand might this be the moment to strike at collecting yourself a decent starters collection.
Even Riftwatchers packs which have super strong cards in there are way below the price on which they started out, which was $5 at the time. Alpha packs remain an fantiastic investment if you still have them closed. Collectors items I would almost call them.
The Chaos Legion packs are the cheapest at the moment going for $0.39 cents or just 1.2 HIVE at the moment. I had no idea this market was so cheap for these at the moment. But as you can see in the market below, this has been the deal for quite a while already.
Now I have been complaining a couple of times already about that in the 'Wild' competition you have to pay 2000 DEC for a wild pass which I still find very expensive. But I never really had decent enough cards to play in the 'Modern' league and get anywhere.
But for 1.2 HIVE per pack......all of a sudden this is a different story
Ofcourse when going into the sale on the internal market you still have to pay this with local currency DEC (you know..the more currencies in a game the merrier) which was kind of annoying
But when looking above on the external market it is way easier to purchase a pack for HIVE and then import them into the game.
I also considered trading some grain for DEC, but this was weeks of grain harvesting for me so I will better keep that on this current rate.
I guess I will just use some Rising Star earnings in Starbits instead of buying cards in that game and some posting earnings to buy a chunk of Chaos packs.
Not that these ones have the best cards in there, but they are cheap at the moment, and then at least I have some modern league cards to play with (and I really like opening packs :DDD)
