Balancing Family Time and Responsibilities Before My Dad Leaves Again
Assalamu Alaikum,
Since the time I came back to my city from my brother’s marriage, I have been quite busy.
Now only 15 days are left before my dad goes back to Dubai, and I am going to miss him again.
But I want to live these 15 days with happiness, and that is why I am trying my best to stay away from everything, even blogging.
I only write whenever I get time. I do not want to take time out for anything else apart from spending time with my family and doing things that will make my dad’s stay in the city more beautiful.
Today, my sister and I are going to my father’s place again because there is a party for the people who were unable to attend the marriage.
The wedding was almost 1,000 kilometers away, so this is a small gathering for those who missed the reception. I think it is a good idea, so me and my sister are also going, and we will return today itself.
I am planning to stay at my father’s place for a few days, and my sister also wants to stay there.
We have to decide how to manage this because we both cannot go at the same time. So we will go one by one.
Maybe in the next few days, I will go first, and after I come back, my sister will go.
This is how we will manage because we are in the same family, and at the end of the day, we have to take care of both sides. That is why I am a little concerned about this.
My son is already 3 years old. If you have read a few of my blogs, you know that I am not in favour of sending a child to school at such a young age.
I believe a child deserves to be under the parents’ guidance for at least 5 to 6 years, and during this time, it is the parents’ responsibility to teach their children.
So we are giving him homeschooling. We have already started his education at home, and he is learning alphabets, numbers, and different languages.
He is doing well, and we will try our best to make him capable enough so that when he enters school after 2 or 3 years, he does not feel different from others.
This is another responsibility I have to take care of, and that is why I have not been able to give more time to the things I used to do.
Even in calligraphy, I sadly say that I am not getting enough time to practice. But I will return to everything very soon because, at the end of the day, it is all about managing.
If we follow everything with discipline, anything is possible.
