About a week ago a new busker was found in the streets of Buskeria, playing his tunes before legging it each time a policeman crossed his path.

Most of the population of Buskeria appear to be fat, slovenly caffeine addicts, but that was to the new Busker's benefit. The masses were dropping slices of pizza as they waddled down the footpaths, pizza that he quickly liberated to munch on later, he was so hungry. Not only pizza though, the masses were leaving coffee cups everywhere. And there were still slurps of coffee left in them!

It was inconceivable, but he took advantage of it, filling up on discarded pizza and leftover coffee each and every day.

One day he came across another musician, but not one such as he, oh no. This one actually had fans and talent, and... skill. It was so unlike his own music, with his untuned guitar, that he stopped and listened for a while.

After the man had finished his set, the Busker introduced himself and within hours was best of friends with this new musician -- a chef named Dan.

After a few coffees and pizza slices together, something magical happened, something that could only have happened in Buskeria... the men merged together and became as one musician.

Now our Busker actually had some skill!

Before he knew it, he soon had a license to busk and he would strum his guitar and sing to the Buskerian population for hours and hours, greedily gobbling up the pizza they threw at him and the coffees they splashed over him.

In any other region of any other country, having food and drinks thrown at you would be a bad thing, but not here! Here it was the greatest of compliments. Here, such acts allowed him the strength to continue continuing on, and continue on he did.

Soon, however, the Busker got too big for his breeches and his head began to swell with pride! With hubris! With... ego.

Luckily he was aware of it happening and quickly signed up for some guitar lessons.

And... at last... after several lessons he stopped thinking so highly of himself, reigned his ego in, and went back to performing for ~the music~ and not for the fame.

After a whole week of Rising Star, I'd just like to say that checking on the game tab has become something of an addiction, and heaven help my impatience when I have no energy left and there's no more pizza to be eaten just yet.

I've got 4 reusable cold slices of pizza and I try to time them so that their cooldowns are equally spaced, and then I hope that I get discarded pizza during those periods of downtime. Most of the time I am lucky! But sometimes I am not. Restraining myself from buying more slices -- 4 is enough! 😅

I've bought 5 card packs so far, and these two have been best cards I've discovered:

Unfortunately I'm not a high enough level to go Christmas Carolling just yet, I miiiight be able to get there before the 6th of January though since I'm halfway through level 19 now, we'll see! Either way, I'm happy with these cards. 😊

This is all the stuff my Busker has done since he first started performing on the streets a mere week ago, and I've juusssstttt surpassed my first 10,000 STARBITS! Woo! (bought one of my card packs with it too!)
