Hello friends
Welcome to the weekly splinterlands contest in its 273rd edition. On this occasion I am pleased to share with you the impressive fan art of Undead Rexx, a chibi-style work of this zombie king of the dinosaurs, finished in an abstract background of color and of lines and circles revolving around him, and in the foreground we have Undead Rexx, with his large jaws and sharp, drooling fangs. I made this Undead Rexx fan art in Adobe Illustrator. Hope you like.

Bienvenidos al concurso semanal de splinterlands en su edición número 273. En esta ocasión me complace el compartirles el impresionante fan art de Undead Rexx, un trabajo estilo chibi de este zombi del rey de los dinosaurios, con un acabado en un fondo abstracto de colore y de de líneas y círculos girando a su alrededor, y en primer plano tenemos a Undead Rexx, con sus grandes mandíbulas y colmillos afilados y babeantes. Este fan art de Undead Rexx, lo he realizado en adobe illustrator. Espero que les guste.
PROCESO / PROCESS
Paso 1 (Boceto y Line arte) / Step 1 (Sketch and Line art)
Boceto/ Sketch:
Lo primero que hice fue dibujar un boceto de Undead Rexx, empezando por dibujar la forma básica del cuerpo y una cabeza más grande que el cuerpo por tratarse de un estilo chibi!.
The first thing I did was draw a sketch of Undead Rexx, starting by drawing the basic shape of the body and a head larger than the body because it is a chibi style!
Line art.
Después de realizar el boceto, escojo un pincel de arte y comienzo el trabajo del delineado, definiendo cada uno de los trazos y su grosor en cada una de las partes del todo de Undead Rexx.
After making the sketch, I choose an art brush and begin the outlining work, defining each of the strokes and their thickness in each of the parts of the whole Undead Rexx.
Paso 2 (Color) / Step 2 (Colour)
Los colores a que use para este trabajo fueron azul para la piel, rosado oscuro para la piel descubierta y la lengua, blanco marfil para los dientes y pesuñas de los dedos y patas, y por ultimo un rojo intenso para el interior de la boca. Así que con esta paleta de colores pase a darle colorido a cada una de las partes de Undead Rexx.
The colors I used for this work were blue for the skin, dark pink for the exposed skin and tongue, ivory white for the teeth and hooves on the fingers and paws, and finally a deep red for the inside of the mouth. So with this color palette, start giving color to each of the parts of Undead Rexx.
Sombras/ Shades:
Después añadí sombras a cada una de las partes según la distribución de la misma a fin de darle volumen a Undead Rexx.
Then I added shadows to each of the parts according to their distribution in order to give Undead Rexx volume.
Luces/ Lights:
Al igual que las sombras las luces juegan un papel fundamental para realzar el volumen de Undead Rexx
Like shadows, lights play a fundamental role in enhancing the volume of Undead Rexx.
Detalles/ Details:
Como detalle para este fan art quise colocar manchas en la lengua, la baba colgante de sus filosos cuchillos y un fondo degradado abstracto de colores violeta, azul, naranja y amarillo con líneas, manchas y círculos en forma de espiral girando alrededor de Undead Rexx.
. As a detail for this fan art I wanted to place spots on his tongue, the slime hanging from his sharp knives and an abstract gradient background of violet, blue, orange and yellow colors with lines, spots and circles in a spiral shape revolving around Undead Rexx.
