Today, I thought I'd share with you a couple of my creations from the last week. I hope you enjoy it!

They were made using my version of Disco Diffusion, photo-manipulation through Gimp and Inkscape, and post editing/composition in darktable.

Process:

So I'm running my own version of Disco Diffusion on Google Collabs, and after weeks of tweaking and implementing new parts in the program, I finally started getting things that tickled my fancy! I hear some people have to batch dozens of AI generations before getting one to work with, but with my settings, it's pretty much a one hit wonder. Which, to be honest, is a good thing, because one 400:500pixel creation takes almost 2h to render with my config.

So, once I get that 400:500, I slice it in a bunch of smaller parts,which are mostly 200:250, and re-render each of them through Disco Diffusion at quadruple resolution (so, 800:1000). This add a RIDICULOUS amount of details, and thanks to my setup, it doesnt differ too much from the original.

Then, I stitch all these results up in GIMP, post process them in darktable, and Bob's your uncle!

This one has become my desktop wallpaper hehe
