# And we already reached the end of another season - Splinter Stats Season 61 Report Card

And again that day of the month has arrived that I dedicate a post to my favorite game on the HIVE blockchain, I am talking about the Splinterlands game. I have decided to do the report every two seasons, only in exceptional cases will I do the report for the second season of the month.

And in this season that just ended, I continued with my strategy of renting my cards for around 10 days and playing the rest of the other 4-5 days to earn some daily rewards and the reward at the end of the season.

But let's see how it went in this season 61.

The performance was a bit worse than in Season 59. This time I was only able to reach Gold I and my ratio of battles lost and won was also lower. Well, at least it didn't go below 1 😅😂.

Coincidentally, my longest streak was better this season with 10, in 59 it was only 8.

I finished this season winning a total of 36 cards, of which two were gold but common cards. In total 8 rare and 26 common cards. It was not so well for me if I compare it to season 59 where I won 50 cards in total. One of them legendary and one of the two epic cards I won was also a gold card.

As I said before, this season did not go well for me. 😋.

The rent this season was much better than in season 59. I can't complain about this part. In Season 59 I won a total of almost 8000 DECs. If I compare it with the almost 30,000 DECs that I have earned this season just ended, it is an increase of more than 3 times the amount.

The SPS airdrop has decreased a bit but it is normal. Here there is only one small detail that I will give now. I have been staking not only what comes to me from the airdrop but I have also been exchanging the DECs that I have earned from card rentals and battles for SPS and staking these SPS as well. You have to take advantage of the low prices that the SPS has at the moment 😎🤑.

And I'll keep doing that for now. I'll keep buying while I can. I just wait for the moment when the airdrop ends. Only 252 days left 😁.

This season passed without pain or glory in general, putting aside the increase in income from card rentals. Hopefully next season will be a little better in every way.

In the meantime, I continue to play battles and rent cards in the best game on the HIVE blockchain, Splinterlands.
