There is this popular song which says that "Time is money". Indeed time really is money. Every business owner should understand this and ensure that they use their time effectively.

Growing up, my dad will always say that, everyone is given the same amount of time in a day. What makes one stand out is how they use their own time.

It baffles me how business owners these days do not even keep to time. They open their store anytime they like and close anytime they like not even considering their customers at all. I use to have a seller who sells fruits. If you see fruit especially in a busy road, you should understand that the evenings are your peak time. Because that's when people are coming back from work. As such you should be available to sell.

Apart from people coming back from work, there are people who may just feel like eating fruits for dinner is ideal for them. Imagine them coming to your shop and you are not available. They will eventually move to another shop to patronize the next person. Now you have missed that opportunity and may even lose that customer if time is not taken.

From my little research about 99% of the people I have met do not even take notice of their time throughout the day. They work according to how their bodies want thereby not even realizing that they are loosing money. I know a business owner who sells just sachets of purer water in my street. This woman is available 24/7. She comes to open her shop as early as 6am and stays until 9pm. She knows that water is an essential commodity and no matter how poor sales might be, people will definitely drink water.

In fact, being time conscious is not for only business owners but for every human being on earth. Time consciousness will help you plan very well without even feeling pressured at all. Knowing your peak times in business is crucial for your business to grow.

So if you want business growth and financial freedom for yourself, be time conscious.
