Some silliest fashion trends. (LOH #123)
Hello #ladiesofhive community. It is another week of interesting questions to jump on. Thank you @merit.ahama for these questions. Very interesting questions I must say. So I will be reacting to question two which says:
What is the silliest recent fashion trend?

Truth be told, a lot of things are evolving and fashion is obviously one of it. If you will agree with me, the way our grandmothers and mothers dressed is what we call old fashion now. Meanwhile in their time, it was what was trending. In as much as I love to be stylish, there are some fashion trends that are completely a big No for me.

Grills
How do you even feel comfortable wearing grills? Hello sir, I hope you don't intend to kiss me with those things hanging on your teeth like a crocodile's fang? I have seen musicians wear them with pride and I cannot help but ask if they even look at themselves in mirrors. That's the most disgusting thing I have ever seen and truth be told, it irritates the hell out of me.
Dresses on jeans
Please sister, let us know what you want to wear. Is it the dress or the jean? You cannot be double-faced here please. This fashion trend is so annoying. Some ladies rocks this style and when I see them I just feel like I should ask them if anyone forced them to wear jeans or even the dress. And if you see the dresses, they are usually so girlish and very cute but because they just want to annoy me, they must wear jeans on top to spoil my mood.
Piercing on the eyebrow
What the hell is this? Like how do you feel comfortable piercing your eyebrows? It is called an eyebrow sis and not an ear extension. It doesn't look cool to me at all. If I see a lady with that kind of piercing, I automatically label her as a street girl. Classy people do not go about with piercings all over their bodies. I don't have a problem with having too many ear lobes. But on your eyebrows? Common girl, this is just not it at all.
Crocs
I don't know who opened the gate for crocs. Because everyone I know wears it on a daily basis. The one that pisses me off is wearing it to formal occasions. Like how do you even think it is nice to wear crocs about? I mean, it is suppose to be a casual footwear right? Considering how ridiculously big it is, I don't recommend it except you want to just stroll out of your house. If you wear it to my event, I will release the dogs on you.
Suits and sneakers
People who wear this combo, I want to ask you why? I thought we agreed that suits are formal wears? Why do you just want to "informal" it? If you want to dress corporate, please go all out and do so. Don't mix it with rascality please. Suits and corporate shoes is a pass for me but with sneaks oh no please don't hurt my feelings with this combo.

I've never heard of or seen grills before. I would think they would be a cess pool of bacteria and all kinds of left over food (supposing they wear them when the eat?). Anyway-yuck!
Piercings; I had a young patient (old enough to really know better) who had a nose piercing like you'd put on a bull. Anyway, hers was a beaded dangly thing. Now, just imagine that with a runny nose! How do you blow your nose with that thing hanging there? It would irritate me for sure!
I often wonder what people are thinking with some of the things that are called 'fashion'!

That crocs keeps getting on my nerve when I see it, and it seem like the girls wearing it around here don't have any other thing to wear aside them again.
Fashion, the more it evolves, the more it get sillier... God help the fashion lovers 🥲
