I had something in mind since early on, and before moving forward with a Pixel-Art project I'm developing, I decided to take a break and figure out what I had in thoughts.

I was lucky to be born in a family where I was never forced to do something, and I was always supported to try what I liked; A very common phrase at least in Latin America is 'Do what you want, but do it well', or also 'Whatever you do, be the best', however, and speaking soon I realized that we can not be the best and we can not do something well if we do not love what we do.

Pixel-Art for fun, to clear my mind, to do something that I find beautiful, and that's how I decided to put together the concepts of loving what you do and doing something I love. Since I was a child, when I started with Pixel-Art in a grid notebook with some crayons, it was an art that I liked for many reasons, and although publicly I show little of what I do, it makes me happy every time I finish a piece because I love it, and I know I'm not the best and I may not do it as well as other professionals, but loving what I do makes me happy.

A piece for sale at @NFTShowroom that represents doing what you love, to the point of creating something that expresses the love that you put into your work; technically a simple work, with not perfect lines and with a very reduced palette as it was done in the old days.

I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed the minutes I invested in this creation.

Tenía algo en la mente desde temprano, y antes de avanzar con un proyecto de Pixel-Art en el que estoy trabajando, decidí tomarme un respiro y resolver lo que tenía en mente.

Tuve la dicha de nacer en una familia donde jamás se me obligo a hacer algo, y siempre se me apoyo en probar aquello que me gustaba; Una frase muy común al menos en Latinoamérica es la de ‘Haz lo que quieras, pero hazlo bien’, o también la de ‘Hagas lo que hagas sé el mejor’, sin embargo, y hablando pronto me di cuenta de que no podemos ser los mejores y no podemos hacer algo bien si no amamos lo que hacemos.

Pixel-Art por diversión, por despejar la mente, por hacer algo que me parezca bonito, y es así como decidí juntar los conceptos de amar lo que haces y hacer algo que amo. Desde muy pequeño, cuando comencé con el Pixel-Art en un cuaderno cuadriculado y con unos crayones, fue un arte que me gustó por diversas razones, y aunque públicamente muestro poco de lo que hago, me hace feliz cada vez que termino una pieza porque lo amo, y es que sé que no soy el mejor y puede que no lo haga tan bien como otros profesionales, pero amar lo que hago me hace feliz.

Una pieza a la venta en @NFTShowroom que representa el hacer lo que amas, al punto de crear algo que exprese el amor que plasmas en tu trabajo; técnicamente un trabajo sencillo, de líneas no perfectas y con una paleta bien reducida como se hacía antiguamente.

Espero que les guste tanto, como yo disfrute los minutos que invertí en esta creación.
