Splinterlands Art Contest Week 254 Talia Firestorn

Hola amigos de HIVE, recientemente, hace un par de días me uní a esta linda comunicad y quiero compartibles mi primer dibujo "Talia Firestorm" para el concurso de @splinterlands. Les confieso que no dibujo desde hace mucho tiempo, la penúltima vez creo que fue en la secundaria ya saben los rato de ocio jejeje y la ultima vez entre 2008 a 2009 cuando estudiaba en el Instituto en los primeros ciclos de la carrera de Periodismo.

Hi friends of HIVE, recently, a couple of days ago I joined this nice community and I want to share with you my first drawing "Talia Firestorm" for the @splinterlands contest. I confess that I haven't drawn for a long time, the penultimate time I think it was in high school and the last time between 2008 and 2009 when I was studying at the Institute in the first cycles of the career of Journalism.

La currícula estudiantil de ese entonces nos exigía llevar dibujo técnico como algo base. La verdad no sabía como empezar después de mucho tiempo sin al menos practicar pero decidí hacerlo porque suelo decirme a mi mismo el que no arriesga no gana. Aunque no tenia muy claro que exactamente dibujar estaba muy inseguro no sabía si primero hacia la oreja, los ojos o los cuernos, me estaba impacientando un poco porque remarcaba mucho el lápiz y me frustraba un poco al momento de no trazar bien algunas líneas y borraba constantemente, luego hice una pausa y se me ocurrió poner música para oírla un rato y relajarme, eso me ayudo bastante porque ya mas calmado empecé a trazar suave despacio y poco a poco fui dándole forma de acuerdo a la referencia para que no pierda su esencia.

The student curriculum at that time required us to take technical drawing as a base. The truth is that I didn't know how to start after a long time without at least practicing but I decided to do it because I usually tell myself that if you don't risk, you don't win. Although I was not very clear about what exactly to draw I was very unsure whether to draw the ear, the eyes or the horns first, I was getting a little impatient because I was drawing too much with the pencil and I got a little frustrated when I didn't draw well some lines and erased constantly, then I made a pause and I thought of playing music to listen to it for a while and relax, that helped me a lot because now calmer I started to draw slowly and little by little I was shaping it according to the reference so that it doesn't lose its essence.

En lo particular creo que no me quedo tan mal, el acabado final se que no soy un profesional con el dibujo he visto alguno de sus publicaciones y me encanta el toque que cada uno le pone a sus trabajos ya que admiro todo tipo de arte, prometo practicar más y seguir mejorando poco a poco mis ilustraciones. A continuación les dejo el proceso que realice.

In particular I think I did not do too bad, the final finish, I know I am not a professional with the drawing, I have seen some of your publications and I love the touch that each one puts to their work because I admire all kinds of art, I promise to practice more and keep improving little by little my illustrations.
