Are Twitter users turning into monkeys?
If you go through twitter you will notice that many users changed their avatars to a monkey face under the acronym of BAYC. This has happened since in the last week the launch of a new "Otherside" metaverse corresponding to a collection of very popular NFTs was predicted.
The developer has announced the auction of virtual land, everything is very nice, it has had the scope and repercussion that was expected or more, but there is a detail that makes ALL the difference. Although since its launch the APE coin has quadrupled its value, in recent days it has suffered an impressive collapse, some experts suppose that it is due to the intervention of KYC.
The BAYC community is shocked by this move and many declare that they will not register for KYC as it goes against the crypto world or Web3 and their principles of trust. Si recorres twitter te darás cuanta que muchos usuarios cambiaron sus avatares a una cara de mono bajo el acrónimo de BAYC. Esto ha sucedido ya que en la última semana se pronosticaba el lanzamiento de un nuevo metaverso "Otherside" correspondiente a una colección de NFTs muy populares.
La desarrolladora ha anunciado la subasta de terrenos virtuales, Todo es muy lindo, ha tenido el alcance y repercusión que se esperaba o mas, pero existe un detalles que hace TODA la diferencia. Si bien desde su lanzamiento la moneda APE a cuadruplicado su valor, en los últimos días ha sufrido desplome impresionante, algunos expertos suponen que es por la intervención de KYC.
La comunidad de BAYC está sorprendida por esta medida y muchos declaran que no se registrarán en KYC ya que va en contra al mundo crypto o la Web3 y sus principios de confianza. Muchos afirman que esto es solo una estrategia para que el estado comience a tomar control en el mundo Crypto. Se cree que aquí entrarán de alguna manera a regir impuestos por el comercio de NFT. Entonces: ¿Es del todo seguro participar de este metaverso?.
