Ice Viper a Tower with 140 Mana
In Soulkeep, each tower has a specific role in battle, and each offers you a different way to dominate the battlefield. One of the towers that leaves the most noticeable and tangible impact is the ICE Viper. It may not be immediately apparent, but it is truly dangerous if used correctly.
The first thing you need to know about ICE Viper is that it uses a singlular attack meaning it focuses on one fiend at a time and however this attack isn't good at all. Why?
The tower has only three uses so you need to use it well and at the right time in the battle. Its attack range is relatively large, ranging from 160 to 305, allowing it to attract fiends from a distance and giving you the opportunity to control your timing.
What makes the ICE Viper truly unique is the poison it uses. The attack deals Poison Damage ranging from 38 to 75 which isn't insignificant especially considering that the poison lasts for 10 to 11 seconds! This means that even if the fiend doesn't die on the first hit, the poison will finish them off in the process.
Another very important point: ICE Viper deals Pure Damage and a type of damage that is unadulterated by armor or resistances. This means that if the fiend is tough or has high defense so ICE Viper will continue to inflict damage as if they have no protection at all.
This tower is very useful for slowing down progress and eliminating monsters that pass through other towers without dying. It's like setting a trap a little late, but it's very effective.
In short, if you want to add poison and drain to your Soulkeep tactics, ICE Viper is an ideal choice. It's rarely used, but its impact is huge, and it can eliminate heavy enemies without much fuss.
