Great show. I like how he wants to give artists some more control over their work and maybe some of these artists just need to post their work onto HIVE and earn from it. I just don't think the current things like Youtube and etc make it easy to earn anything at all.

Yeah there is such a community they could plug right into and the best part is...They would be rewarded from the get go.

The problem with just posting music to Hive is that you only get paid once for it. This way artists can be compensated many times over. It’s a great place to build a community though!

True. However I think there are ways like uploading music to Rising Star and maybe get a bit of earnings off your music. Most of the NFT markets do return a portion of the fees back to the creators.

They could, yes, but that's really not allot of exposure. I mean you can have your work on the mainstream sites but still never get exposure either. The point of giving artists ownership in the platform not only their music, is so that they will hopefully want to help promote what we have going on because their revenue depends on more people showing up as well. We have to go beyond our little niche community and expand across the ecosystem to hopefully bridge more eyes and ears our way, it's building a brand.

People undervalue engagement becasue they think something as small as their upvote or comment could noot really amount to much. They don't understand that getting followers now is easier than getting followers will be in 10 years. They don't understant that a comment can lead to a relationship, a community, and more.

Exactly.

The more active we are now, will pay off down the road...Cause it'll get a lot harder!

And that's a great way for Hive to pull more people into the ecosystem. By expanding outside and linking back. Glad to find another big fan of the Cosmos ecosystem too. :)
