CRYPTO IS ADVANCING, CHOOSE LEO

Hi Hivians!

Recently, I read a #cryptonews tweet from #coinmarketcap that Indonesia plans to set up a #crypto stock exchange in 2023. Before now, I've heard of different advancement made by countries to embrace the #web3 world - by passing legislations to enable cryptocurrency to be used as legal tender. Definitely, it is a good news every #Crypto enthusiasts would love to hear and get more involved.

On the other hand, few months ago in Nigeria, the government enforced a law to ban any bank account involve in tradings related to #Crypto - according to the government, the reason was to regulate the financial flow of the country, which I feel was a wrong way to tackle that.

For me, the #web3 platform didn't come with intention to disrupt the economy of the country, rather, it came to eliminate poverty and bring light to every person across the globe; one aspect I learnt about the banning in my country was that some people transfer the money they loot from others into their crypto wallet because it is decentralized and can't be controlled by the country. As a matter of fact, crimes will certainly not end as long as we are in a corrupt world, it is left for the government to set up agencies that will oversee the criminal actions in its country instead of rejecting #web3.

I give a big kudos to the countries operating on #crypto and others who intend to join the trend.
