For every artist, there is a finite number of artworks they will create in their lifetime. For example, prior to his death, Vincent Van Gogh created just over 2,000 paintings, drawings, and sketches. What do you imagine your number to be?

Another question that can be useful to consider is this: how many of those artworks will be valued by at least one person after the artist's death? Thinking about such numbers can help us take a big-picture look at our output as well as quality. Upon further reflection, it may even influence the outcome of those final artistic numbers. Either way, since every hour is a finite resource that we only get so much of in our lifetime, time and art are bound together... for life.
