💤 Day 36 in Splinterlands: Burnout Hits and Pack Prices Drop
Today marks Day 36 since I returned to playing Splinterlands. For the first time, I really felt the burnout of grinding every day.
I only managed to claim 1 daily reward chest, and with my Energy Points running very low, it didn’t feel worth pushing more battles. I think I’ll let my ECR recharge back up to 50 Energy Points over the next few days before I dive back into the arena.
While taking a step back from playing, I also checked the market. The price of Foundation packs surprised me:
When I started playing Frontier, packs were around $4.
Now, they’re sitting at just $0.69 each.
It made me wonder—does this mean demand is low and fewer players are building decks? Or are players just buying packs for a shot at pulling a rare reward card and flipping it on the market?
I’d love to hear your take:
Why do you think Foundation packs have dropped this much?
Do you see this as a good time to buy, or is it a sign of weaker demand?
Are packs still worth it, or is renting/singles the smarter move right now?
For now, I’ll rest my account for a few days, recharge my Energy Points, and return with a fresh mindset. Burnout happens, but I want to keep enjoying the game instead of forcing it.
See you all when I’m back in the arena ✊

True, that makes sense! With unlimited supply, prices will naturally keep dropping.
Since most of the people that wanted to buy cards in Foundation already purchased the cards, demand is getting lower.
I've been planning to invest in some Foundation cards myself but not sure how far I'd like to invest as I recently just started dipping my toes into foundation.
Yeah, most early buyers probably already grabbed their Foundation cards, so demand is slowing down now. I’m also on the fence about investing more. The low prices are tempting, but I’m not sure if I should build a bigger deck yet or just wait.
