Leveling Up Your Fire Monsters for Level 7

Most of the summoners that we play with are rare. When we get them up to level 7 we can pair them with level 9 commons, level 7 rares, level 5 epics and level 4 legendary monsters.

At this point in my series I've integrated cards from Rebellion with cards from Chaos Legion. I addressed those groups separately through level 4.

I think these are some of the most impactful fire monsters to start leveling up if you happen to have some level 7 rare summoners to pair them with. These upgrades will also work if you have level 4 legendary summoners, level 5 epic summoners or level 9 common summoners.

At level 7 Tenyii Striker picks up the backfire ability which pairs beautifully with the dodge ability it already has.

At level 4 Ifrit Rising picks up the forcefield ability.

At level 4 Countess Sinash picks up the blast ability.

At level 4 Mordeus picks up the piercing ability to go along with a 7th melee attack damage. You wouldn't want all that melee to go to waste.

When picking out new cards to level up, it's important to consider whether you'll be playing in modern or wild format. All of the cards that I discussed in today's post are legal in modern. If you start to level these cards up remember that they will revert to a lower level if you play them with a lower level summoner.
