Leveling up your earth monsters from Conclave Arcana for level 2

Most of the summoners that we play with are rare. When we get them up to level 2 we can pair them with level 3 commons, level 2 rares, level 2 epics and level 1 legendary monsters.

I think these are some of the most impactful earth monsters from Conclave Arcana to start leveling up if you happen to have some level 2 rare summoners to pair them with. These upgrades will also work if you have level 1 legendary summoners, level 2 epic summoners or level 3 common summoners.

Mad Kaboomist picks up divine shield at level 3. This is huge because at level 1 Mad Kaboomist dies to anything. At level 3 it takes a second hit in almost every situation.

Virid Venomancer picks up shield ward at level 3. I'm already happy to use Mana Warden in all sorts of situations where it can't even attack. Venomancer is a strict upgrade with a nice 2 damage magic attack.

Phlegmunculus picks up close range at level 2.

All of the cards that I discussed in today's post are legal in modern (being from Conclave Arcana). If you start to level these cards up remember that they will revert to a lower level if you play them with a lower level summoner.

I would love to hear what some of your favorite cards are to level up. I'll keep pointing out the ones I can. Another great place to find them is the cards that you get beat by on the battlefield.

I hope this post has been helpful and informative. Thanks for reading and thanks for all the upvotes, reblogs, comments and follows. I'll see you in the game. For any of you who might be new to making posts for the social media challenge or who had stepped away for a while. This can be a great way to get involved in the Splinterlands community. The upvotes from the Splinterlands curators can go a long ways towards keeping your collection competitive. There are some recent updates to their curation rules that are worth noting:

Word Count. There is a 600 word cutoff which is relevant for me. Several of my recent posts were right around that cutoff, some were a little over and some were a little under. One of our manual curators pointed it out for me. I was grateful for the upvote and the explanation.

Community Commitment. "To ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of the Hive ecosystem, we will evaluate the long-term commitment of participants when selecting winners. Specifically, we will review past rewards earned and currently held Hive Power (HP) as part of the selection process.

Participants who demonstrate an investor mindset by holding and growing their HP are more likely to be rewarded. Those who consistently extract all rewards without reinvesting into the ecosystem may not be eligible for prizes.

This rule aims to celebrate and encourage commitment to the Hive blockchain, fostering a strong and engaged community."
TLDR. If you're a little bit of an OG like I am who has been stacking your SPS and your hive power for a couple of years, you're still likely to get curated. If you've been cashing out all of your earnings within the ecosystem or doing stuff like farming, the curators can easily see that you only have 40 SPS staked and hive power of 3. You're not going to get curated. To say that farming is not encouraged would be an understatement. We are strictly prohibited from using multiple accounts to farm rewards in these weekly challenges.
