Quick story, My fking wrist is hurting right now. 😅 Maybe because of excessing dribbling of the ball, haha. It is hard to grip my pen to draw, but it is not painful but more like, uncomfty. But let's see tomorrow what will happen. I just put some ice in a compress bag and put it on my wrist at 5-minute intervals.

Specifically, I do not know what kind of bird is Thunderbird. I just assume it is a big bird like hawk or an eagle. I searched for a reference of a bird resting on a branch. The sketch is very simple.

Now add the base colors. I just copied on what is on the card. The eyes and beak are the same color, while the feet are a bit of a dull shade of orange. I feel like it is turning into a jacked dove. 😆 On the base layer, I colored the tip of the wings with black color. I added another layer for the shadowing. I put all the layers in one folder and masked it with yellow with low opacity.

Final Art

The vision is now more coming to life with the lightning and glow. The background is black, and then I added the yellow bolts of lightning. I blurr them a little bit using Gaussian blur. I also added tints of orange especially on the bird's body and on the branch.
