Greetings everyone, and welcome back to my latest post about the fascinating world of Splinterlands!

  • Now, let me share with you my recent experience with the EQUALIZER challenge. I participated in a battle that utilized this particular battle rule, and I am excited to share my insights and strategies with you all.

The Initial Health Of All Monsters Is Equal To That Of The Monster On Either Team With Highest Base Health.

  • In a game where players engage in battles using monsters, there is a rule called the equalizer rule. This rule dictates that the initial health of all monsters in a battle is the same and is determined based on the monster with the highest base health. For instance, suppose that in a battle, both players are using two monsters each. The game system will first determine the highest base health of all four monsters, regardless of which team they belong to. Once the highest base health is found, all four monsters will be given an equal amount of health, which is equal to the highest base health found by the system. This ensures that no player has an unfair advantage over the other during the game.

  • The "Equalizer" battle rule is intended to provide players with more leeway in selecting monsters for the fight. Most players avoid choosing monsters with low health, even if they are powerful and valuable. This is due to the fact that low-health monsters are more vulnerable to enemy attacks, making them less effective in the fight. On the other hand, the "equalizer" combat rule, alters this dynamic by assuring that all monsters, regardless of their original health levels, begin the battle with the same full health. This implies that players can now choose powerful and useful monsters, even with low health, without worrying about them being eliminated too quickly.

  • This rule is particularly useful because it allows players to explore and utilize the full range of monsters available to them, without being limited by health considerations. It also encourages players to experiment with new and different strategies, as they can now incorporate previously underutilized monsters into their battle plans.

  • In this battle, the mana cost limit was set at 37, which proved to be a suitable amount to summon powerful Earth monsters and use potent Earth summoners. This provided the perfect opportunity for me to utilize my favorite Earth monsters and summoners, giving me a significant advantage in the battle.

  • Fortunately, luck was on my side, as we were only allowed to choose three sources of monsters out of a total of six, and the Earth source was active. This meant that I could focus on summoning the Earth monsters, allowing me to dominate my opponents with ease.

The UNICORN MUSTANG is a highly popular and frequently used monster on Earth during battles. This particular creature is well-known for its exceptional combat abilities, particularly its three melee attack powers, which make it a formidable opponent in any battle. Additionally, the UNICORN MUSTANG is equipped with an impressive speed rating of four, allowing it to quickly move around the battlefield, launch fast attacks, and dodge incoming attacks from other enemy monsters.

One of the key advantages of the UNICORN MUSTANG is its impressive durability. With a health rating of ten, this monster can withstand a significant amount of damage and remain in battle for a prolonged period of time. Whether engaging in a long, drawn-out battle or a quick skirmish, the UNICORN MUSTANG is a valuable asset that can make a significant difference in any combat situation.

SPIRIT SHAMAN is one of the epic earth monsters that have learned the secrets of their ancestors through the use of the Palavan and Mitica Spirit Ways. Through their tireless efforts, SPIRIT SHAMAN has gained access to knowledge and insight that has been passed down from the elder tribes. They have learned the secrets of the Spirit Ways, and have acquired the legacy and memories of the previous generations. It has 1 magic attack power, 3 speeds, and 4 health. The Spirit Shaman has the ability to read the thoughts of their enemies. They are cautious and calculated in their approach, utilizing their knowledge of the Spirit Ways to defend themselves against any danger. If one sees the eyes of a Spirit Shaman light up, it is advised to run, as this may signal a deadly attack.

A peculiar and unusual sight had appeared at the very topmost branches of the Elder Tree. A new bud had started to grow, something the animals living within the tree had not seen before. They observed in awe as the bud continued to expand, slowly but surely, until it burst open in a magnificent display. This is how the Wood Nymphs were born. This particular spirit possessed a single magic attack power, which was not particularly impressive when compared to other spirits. However, what it lacked in offensive capability, it made up for in a unique defensive ability.

Despite having low health and speed, this spirit possessed the tank heal ability, which allowed it to restore a portion of the first monster's health each round. This meant that, while the spirit itself may not have been able to take much damage, it could help sustain the rest of the team and keep them in fighting shape.

The Magi Tower serves as a hub for Goblins seeking to master psychic abilities. While psychic powers can be learned by any race, the proximity of Gobson to the tower has made it a popular destination for Goblins seeking to hone their skills. The Magi Tower is the place where GOBLIN PSYCHIC learns how to move objects and read thoughts using their own mind. Not only that they also gain 2 magic attack power after years of training. But their movement is very slow. The Magi Tower is a place of learning and growth, where Goblins unlock their full potential and gain the skills needed to thrive in the world of magic and adventure. They also unlock the rare ability called "Tank Heal" which restores a portion of the monster in the first position's health each round.

In the center of the Centauri Wood, there is a Mushroom Forest that is concealed from view. This woodland has given birth to many oddities over the years, including medicinal plants with unusual and otherworldly effects. Fully grown Mushroom People have recently appeared in this woodland, causing new phenomena. These unusual individuals, known as Mushroom People, have assumed the shape of mushrooms, complete with caps and stems. The birth of the rare earth monster MUSHROOM SEER was a unique set of circumstances. This particular monster is considered to be exceptionally dangerous. In particular, the MUSHROOM SEER is capable of unleashing two powerful magic attacks, making it a force to be reckoned with in battle. Despite its fearsome reputation, many monster enthusiasts are drawn to the MUSHROOM SEER because of its "Silence" ability. This unique skill has the power to reduce the magic attack power of all enemy monsters, which can be a game-changer in certain situations.

The Regal Peryton is a creature of exceptional beauty, said to be one of the most magnificent beings in all the Splinterlands. When Regal Perytons take to the skies, they are a breathtaking sight to behold. The sunlight catches in their wings, creating stunning rainbows that seem to dance in the air beneath them. This monster is not only known for its stunning beauty but also for its incredible speed. It is considered to be one of the fastest creatures in the game, with a remarkable five-speed stat and the ability to fly, making it an elusive target that is difficult to strike. In battle, Regal Peryton, has a significant advantage over its opponents, as it is often able to launch its attack before the opposing team's monsters have a chance to strike. This gives Regal Peryton a significant edge in combat, allowing it to take down its enemies quickly and efficiently.

How is the strategy implemented.gif


1. The reason for my decision to place UNICORN MUSTANG in the first position is twofold.

  • Firstly, UNICORN MUSTANG is a melee-powered monster, which means that it requires the first position to attack the opponent's monsters. If it were to be placed in any other position, it would not be able to attack, which would diminish its potential impact in the battle.

  • Secondly, UNICORN MUSTANG possesses the void ability, which is a unique feature that enables it to reduce the damage from the enemy's magic attacks. This makes it an ideal choice for the first position as it can better defend against the opponent's magic attacks.

  • As I expected, the opponent used three monsters with magic attacks. However, out of the three monsters, only one, NERISSA TRIDAWN was able to inflict damage on UNICORN MUSTANG's health. The other two monsters were unable to harm it in any way, despite their best efforts.

  • Throughout the entire battle, UNICORN MUSTANG remained unscathed, with not a single point of damage inflicted on its health. This is a testament to its incredible defense capabilities, particularly its void ability which was able to nullify the majority of the opponent's magic attacks.

2. SPIRIT SHAMAN was just only a supporting card in this battle. As its health will also increase to 10, It was a good card to use in this battle.

  • One of SPIRIT SHAMAN's key abilities is the Divine Shield ability, which allows it to ignore the first attack damage from any enemy monster. This proved to be a useful ability in the battle, as I was confident that SPIRIT SHAMAN would remain unharmed by the opponent's attacks, which ultimately proved to be the case.

  • In terms of its offensive capabilities, SPIRIT SHAMAN did not have a major role to play in the battle, as it was primarily focused on dealing two health damage to the opposing team's monsters each round. As a result, SPIRIT SHAMAN may have felt somewhat bored during the battle, as it did not have any additional responsibilities or opportunities to demonstrate its full potential.

3. Two Tank Heal ability monster GOBLIN PSYCHIC & Wood Nymphs were the key monsters of this battle.

  • The team consisted of two Tank Heal monsters, which meant that it was possible to restore approximately 6 health per round. However, during the battle, there was no need for both Tank Heal monsters to use their abilities simultaneously, as UNICORN MUSTANG's health was not significantly impacted by the opponent's attacks.

  • During the battle, the two monsters on my team, the Wood Nymphs, and the Goblin Psychic, were able to deal a total of five health damage to each of the opposing team's monsters in every round. The Wood Nymphs had a magic attack power of two, while the Goblin Psychic had a magic attack power of three. With their combined attack strength, they were able to inflict huge health damage on the opposing team's monsters, which made the battle significantly easier for me to win.

4. The Silence ability possessed by MUSHROOM SEER played a pivotal role in alleviating the difficulties I might encounter during the intense battle.

  • In the early stages of the encounter, as the summoner commenced distributing strategic enhancements to our loyal cadre of allies, the illustrious MUSHROOM SEER showcased its profound influence by significantly diminishing the magical offensive capabilities of every single magic-wielding adversary within the opposing ranks.

  • As a direct consequence of the MUSHROOM SEER's ability to diminish the effectiveness of the opponent's magic attacks, a remarkable turn of events unfolded during the heat of battle. The repercussions of this intervention became strikingly evident as two formidable enemy monsters, despite delivering their blows with apparent force, found themselves rendered utterly feeble, unable to inflict any discernible damage upon the resilient and majestic Unicorn Mustang.
