5:06AM EST, Feb 11 - Fan Club Announced

This new Rising Star functionality was announced here. These special cards can only be created by spending STARPRO, and every account can only earn the cards once. There are currently 28 in total—getting to the top requires grinding out 700 hours of in-game missions.

The cost in STARPRO to run the mission depends on the activity in the Music Promoter function of the game. Naturally, we also saw a rush of activity over in the Music Promoter.
 

STARPRO price leaps 2x 📈

Demand for STARPRO jumped, due to the new use for the currency. As folks bought up it up to be able to progress in Fan Club, prices surged from a month-long high of ~$3 to over $6.

And thanks to the actions of some market makers, I have a feeling these prices may stick for a while. It's still quite difficult to turn STARBITS into STARPRO via the game, as @wagginston has over 100,000,000 STARBITS pooled and earmarked for Music Promoter purposes. My estimate is that it will take at least 2 months for that pile to burn.

10:10 PM EST, Feb 11 - L23 card pulled!

I recently posted about the pull of the very first L24 card. And now the first L23 Foxon is out there too! And wouldn't you know who pulled it...

At 12K Skill and 6K Fans, this card is a beast! Pure poetry that the first one goes to its namesake 😉
 

12:17 AM, Feb 12 - Millionth card minted!

During all this, the countdown to card ID 1000000 was underway. Those with eyes on the chain were fast to spot the lucky draw!

As you might expect, it was a simple Common card—68 Faye—that has the honour of being stamped as Rising Star's One Millionth NFT.

We all wonder if user @sealandsalalah knows what they stumbled upon. Collectors may pay a pretty price for this momentous card. 🤑
