oh thank you, i don't usually do that but was using the iOS app for ecency and i guess with the touch UI i guess it became suddenly appealing ahah. guess i ended up doing that the wrong time, but i can undo it right? i'll read that post though and see what it says, ty for letting me know!
You're welcome. Pls do unvote and try not to repeat it. You can self vote pob if you use the tag #novyb :D In that way you can avoid getting muted and earn pob :D
is it possible to undo an upvote? i'm not sure if i can change the slider to 0% after the fact, i feel like it may only allow the other way. i am sure it's not a major problem since i hadn't done it before though if it's possible to rectify i'd want to do that and not just not try haha, but i don't want to accidentally broadcast something else that ends up actually making things worse if it's even possible.
tried searching about it but i didn't see anything relevant through the first 2 batches of results.

edit - i see you replied while i was adding this comment, ok so it is possible. i'm not sure if i properly unvoted though cause the # of votes didn't go down - i slid it down to 0% and hit vote again, is that right? or do i have to do an equal and opposite downvote maybe. tried searching via g/ddg more but nothing super clear seems to come up on the topic.

oh i wasn't doing it in any attempt of benefitting myself, i wasn't making some excuse when i said i used the iOS app (which is rare, i'm back on desktop now and pretty much always am) and just hit the button cause i could touch it and i just wasn't thinking LOL
i usually think it might come across as tacky to like one's own posts, that might have been the only time i've done it before on hive. since i don't fully understand everything, i would really want to understand what an upvote on my own post would do before doing it- but, BUTTON - MUST TOUCH WITH FINGER LOL
thanks again. i did vote it 0% well over 10 minutes ago and it still shows it in the count, but presumably it will eventually work itself out like you said so i'm not stressed!
:D that is good enought, try to avoid sv on vyb so they dont mute you, having some tier two tokens is better than not having any :D

ahah well i'm glad you pointed it out to me, i try to make sure i've got the rules down but since i never normally intend to upvote my own stuff i never soaked that in. i'd rather be able to fix it before it becoems irreversible!
