This is my entry for the #monomad challenge. Photos of NYC taken on my Canon 80d.

Oh my... New York.. I could go on and on forever about all of the reasons I love this city. It's the only city that I've ever been like okay I need to move here now. I went to NYC on a family vacation three years ago and have never stopped dreaming about moving here. New York is somewhere you go because you want something and everyone there is there for the same reason. I love the hustle, I love the architecture, I love the fashion and art. Literally everything about New York has my heart.

We were only in NYC for a couple of days since we were on our way to Italy from Hawaii. We wanted to see everything, or everything that we could in a couple of days so when we landed at 6am we started our exploration. Our hotel was across the street from Madison Square Garden and only a 15 minute walk to Times Square. After dropping off our bags we walked to Times Square. There were so many people that it looked like three different events were going on but, it was just another summer day in NYC.

While in NYC we were walking around and taking the subway everyday from 6am to 3am. There is so much to do at any time of the day or night. There is always something going on or something else that we absolutely had to check out. We went to the Statue of Liberty, Brighton Beach, saw a Yankee game at the Yankee Stadium, saw a play on Broadway, walked around Central Park, and so much more. We saw everything we could in the short amount of time that we were there.

I just noticed that the first photo has an add for Kinky Boots in the bottom left corner which is funny because that was the play that we saw on Broadway. It was the only play that had tickets available and we were a little bummed since we hadn't heard about Kinky Boots before until we watched it. Now, it's definitely one of my favorite plays! The theater was gorgeous, the acting was great, and the play was so much fun. Next time I'm in NYC I want to see a bunch of different plays!
