The Astral Entity: A Cosmic Observer with a Hidden Agenda?
The Splinterlands is a world filled with mysterious and powerful beings, but none quite as enigmatic as the Astral Entity. This eldritch being is said to drift through rifts in reality, searching for new planes and realms to explore. Although there is little known about the Astral Entity, it is said to be a humanoid shape made of cosmic energy.
One thing that is known about the Astral Entity, however, is its tendency to bring death and destruction wherever it goes. Clans and nations have gone to war, crops have withered, and plagues have ravaged the land in the wake of its arrival. Even more puzzling is the fact that the Astral Entity seems to vanish without a trace once the destruction is over.
But what could the Astral Entity want? Some believe that it is simply an observer, studying the workings of different worlds and the beings that inhabit them. Others, however, think that the Astral Entity has a hidden agenda.
When the Chaos Legion invaded the Splinterlands, the rift they opened drew the attention of the Astral Entity. It was able to slip through undetected and witness the devastation caused by the Chaos Legion and their leader, Silus of the Rift. Although the Astral Entity did nothing to intervene, it did learn. It learned the strengths and weaknesses of not only the Splinterlands, but of the Chaos Legion as well.
It's unclear what the Astral Entity will do with this knowledge, but one thing is for certain: whatever choice it makes will be purely for its own gain. Will the Astral Entity choose a side in the ongoing conflict in the Splinterlands? Only time will tell. But one thing is certain, the Astral Entity is one being that should not be underestimated.
