Speed, Dodge and Flying explained [[[BEGINNERS GUIDE]]]

Hello guys,

This is a quick and simple tutorial for explaining the stats Speed, Dodge and Flying as they often may confuse players that are not fully familiar with the game mechanics and details yet.

Speed is shown on the left side of the card, the blue "ball".

When we count together SPEED + DODGE + FLYING we get the miss chance.

Let me explain the calculations under:

Every point in speed difference is 10% more miss chance (This value cannot be negative). Additional value of 25% is added (if the monster has dodge) + 25% (if there is flying but it won't work on other flying troops or snare troops) + 15% (if there is blind, also blind does not stack).

When you count them all together, you get the total miss chance.

So for example if you have 3 speed card, and your opponent attacks it with 1 speed card, the miss chance is 30% - 10% = 20%

Magic attacks always hit the target, unless there is the "Phase" ability

Then the miss chance is counted with the same calculations than for ranged and melee.

The SPEED STAT is often overlooked by newer players in novice bronze and silver, as people are often looking for cards that hits the hardest. However speed is very important, and some players say "Speed is the king".

Abilities that can affect speed is Swiftness (gives every card of yours +1 speed while alive) and Slow (Gives every enemy card -1 speed while its alive).

So remember when you are deciding to get new cards, to take a good look at the speed stat aswell :)
