IN PURSUIT OF A FREE AND FAIR INTERNET: FREE SPEECH

Do we really need the internet if you really do then? Do we have to pay for it?

It is true that the internet has become a place where we practically live our lives and enjoy the comfort of having others support and encourage us when we share bits of the things we do. And we also have found it her place where we can easily broadcast information and advertise products as well as buy and sell.

It has become the home of communication and many people have made a lot of money by just being aware of the internet and using it for their daily activities.

But should the internet become where we begin to get scared of sharing our information and also worried about things that we have shared in the past.

Can we all struggle to get a free and a fair internet for everyone, where there is no fear or tendency of someone spying on us and checking out the things that we share for ulterior motives.

The introduction of the blockchain technology is my recommendation for this to be possible and many people are beginning to be aware of this and also buying the idea of a possibility of a free and fair internet.

When you post a picture to a website that picture should be there and should be seen by the people that you want to see it no one should be able to claim it against you and no one should be able to still at the picture from you to the claim ownership of it.

But the internet we have has been so such that the plagiarism has not been addressed and many people easily copy different peoples work of intelligence and brandish them to be theirs.

The internet is definitely due for a change we demand something better. An internet that is owned by the people, internet that is governed by the people and internet where decisions are made by the people and internet where people and for their work.

Entertainment industry has suffered a lot from this copyrights have been abused and so to say many do not know how to go about it because if the foundations be destroyed "what can the righteous do".

Can we have a free and fair internet where we do not have to pay with our privacy?
Where we don't have to suffer to get our ideas for its progress heard?
Where our account cannot be terminated?
Where terms and conditions are easily understood and shared amongst all,
Where freedom of expression and freedom of speech is upheld,
Where political strings and power polls cannot easily influence.

We definitely can pull this through we can create the internet that we want to data privacy must be preserved and freedom of speech must be supported in other to have a well meaning human society.

WEB 3.0 and the blockchain may well serve the purpose of this, but like we all know its only just budding as it will require some form of mass adoption before it can be mainstream.
I m glad Hive, leofinance, SPKnetwork and a few other platforms are already knee deep into the mechanics it will take, will twitter follow suit, now that Elon Musk who has been showing some interest in the decentralised social media now has a largest stake of it share.

You can have free internet if you agree you will only see what the provider wants you to see. When you say Free.
Who will cover the costs of providing internet to everyone free?

Provide the road map for a free internet. Then say we need it.

Aahhha..
It's cool you see it this way.
What I really mean is the freedom of expression and the fairness in addressing or judging matters.

It may be at cataclysms, but that's why it's a journey, we may get there someday I hope the blockchain can give it to us.

But my point is not affording the data to assess the internet. Although the cost of data in my part of the world still limits people's reach but that's probably a discussion for another day.

Thanks so much for the comment.

Internet for all is a dream I have also considered, but the truth is it will always be like a chain, or cascasde, some are direct consumers and user while others will derive benefits from the consumers. The reached and unreached.. We can't totally leave the real world.

If the big goons keep dictating what we see, then that's not fair. If they terminate account that are showing proof of needed information, that's definitely not fair either.

Come up with a number.
If you have that number then you know the cost, when you know the cost you know what you need to exceed and hold an ability to expand.
If you think you can do it or not is non consequential. only to the matter of if you work out the cost. If you do not work out the cost. Nothing will change. If you do. then its all ???

In any freedom there must be some kind of, some restrictions) ... for example, moral ones, and this is not bad.

Well.. the restrictions in this case should not hamper free speech and expression. True freedom does have its space, Things we shouldn't do. But if it's a social community, freedom should at least within the space of moral rightness which varies amongst people so to u can really draw the line.

Hence most platforms use a deterrent. I m sure you know which applies to which.

Thanks for your comment.
