What's up, everyone! 🖐️ In today's post, I'm going to reminisce about my beginnings in this game that has us all hooked. So, get ready for a trip back in time to my first steps in the Realm of Splinterlands.

I'll tell you how I stumbled upon this game, my first experiences, some achievements that have marked me, and what I ask of the future within this world.

Let's go back to October 2021. The cryptocurrency universe was in full swing, a whirlwind of ups and downs that, I confess, had me a bit dizzy.

I had made some modest forays, but the truth is that being glued to the charts wasn't my thing. It was then, aimlessly browsing the internet, that I came across a game that promised to merge the best of the crypto world with a mechanic that resonated deeply with me: it reminded me a lot of my childhood games of the legendary Magic: The Gathering. Curiosity piqued me instantly, and I quickly started researching it thoroughly.

A few days later, I already had my account created and the Spellbook in my possession. The Splinterlands adventure had begun!

Starting in this universe was not an easy task, and seeing myself facing opponents with incredible cards was very challenging. But I didn't lose hope, and with my humble collection of cards, I gradually climbed the leagues until I achieved the miracle of settling in Bronze I league.

Among all the rewards I got back then, I fondly remember the excitement of opening a chest and getting my first Djinn Chwala, a highly valued card at the time and my first epic rarity card. That's when I unleashed myself and started winning games.

In that era, decks with Alric the Stormbringer alongside Djinn Oshannus prevailed; having both cards was a guaranteed victory. I quickly rented both cards to improve my rewards and climb to Silver league, where I stayed for a while.

It was then that I decided to focus on one element and start investing my earnings from publishing on Hive in buying cards. After analyzing each of them, I decided on the Life Splinter as it was one of the cheapest, and I had obtained many important cards in the rewards.

Little by little, I increased my collection, buying and selling until I reached where I am now. With a good collection of mostly Rewards and Chaos Legion cards that allow me to play at my own pace and obtain good results.

While it is true that the passion I had at the beginning has gradually faded, I still open the Splinterlands page every day. I play Brawls and let Xbot play for me in Wild mode.

During this time, I have unsuccessfully tried to get excited again with the arrival of the Lands, but it was not what I expected, and seeing how we lose players with each change disappoints me.

Even so, I will continue to bet on Splinterlands, as the best thing about it is the great team of people that makes up our Guild.

¡Qué pasa, gente! 🖐️ En el post de hoy voy a recordar los inicios en este juego que tanto nos engancha. Así que, prepárados para un viaje en el tiempo a mis primeros pasos en el Reino de Splinterlands.

Os contaré cómo di con este juego, mis primeras andanzas, algunos logros que me han marcado y qué le pido al futuro dentro de este mundillo.

Retrocedamos hasta octubre de 2021. El universo de las criptomonedas estaba en pleno apogeo, un torbellino de subidas y bajadas que, confieso, me tenía un poco mareado.

Había hecho algunas incursiones modestas, pero la verdad es que estar pegado a las gráficas no era lo mío. Fue entonces, navegando sin rumbo fijo por internet, cuando di con un juego que prometía fusionar lo mejor del mundo cripto con una mecánica que me resonaba profundamente: recordaba muchísimo a mis partidas de infancia al mítico Magic: The Gathering. La curiosidad me picó al instante y no tardé en ponerme a investigar a fondo.

Unos pocos días después, ya tenía mi cuenta creada y el Spellbook en mi poder. ¡La aventura Splinterlands había comenzado!

Comenzar en éste universo no fue tarea fácil y ver como me enfrentaba a oponentes con increíbles cartas fue muy desafiante. Pero no perdí la esperanza y con mi humilde colección de cartas poco a poco fui subiendo de liga hasta alcanzar el milagro y poder asentarme en liga Bronce I.

Entre todas las recompensas que conseguía en aquel entonces, recuerdo con nostalgia la ilusión al abrir un cofre y conseguir mi primer Djinn Chwala carta muy cotizada por aquel entonces y mi primera carta de rareza épica, ahí fue dónde me desaté y empecé a ganar partidas.

En aquella épica se imponía los mazos con Alric the Stormbringer junto a Djinn Oshannus, tener ambas cartas era victoria segura. Rápidamente alquilé ambas cartas para mejorar mis recompensas y subir a liga Plata donde me mantuve por un tiempo.

Fue entonces cuando decidí centrarme en un elemento y empezar a invertir mis ganancias publicando en Hive en la compra de cartas. Después de analizar cada uno de ellos me decidí por el Splinter Vida ya que era de las más económicos y muchas cartas importantes las había conseguido en las recompensas.

Poco a poco fui aumentando mi colección, comprando, vendiendo hasta llegar a dónde ahora me encuentro. Con una buena colección de cartas en su mayoría Rewards y Chaos Legion que me permiten jugar a mi ritmo y obtener buenos resultados.

Si bien es cierto que la pasión que tenía al comienzo ha ido poco a poco desapareciendo, sigo abriendo día a día la página de Splinterlands. Juego Brawls y dejo que Xbot juegue por mi en modo Wild.

En este tiempo he intentado sin éxito volver a emocionarme con la llegada de las Lands pero no fue lo que me esperaba y ver como con cada cambio perdemos jugadores me desilusiona.

Aún así seguiré apostando por Splinterlands ya que lo mejor de todo es el gran equipo de gente que compone nuestra Guild.
