A Closer Look at Dragon Egg Forager's Abilities and Potential (EN-ES)
Hello Splinterlands friends, I’m here once again with all of you to present a new post where I analyze a new Reward card.
I already have many of my cards at very high levels, and that shows in my results. With better stats and abilities, these cards are much better than I initially thought.
Today, it’s time to talk about a card from the Dragon Splinter, which I consider to be a good card due to its moderate mana cost and abilities that make it highly effective in battle.
Let’s begin with its presentation.
Hola amigos de Splinterlands, estoy una vez mas con todos vosotros para presentaros un nuevo post en el que analizo una nueva carta Reward.
Ya tengo muchas de mis cartas a niveles muy elevados y eso se nota en mis resultados ya que con mejores atributos y habilidades, éstas cartas son mucho mejores de lo que pensaba al principio.
Hoy es el turno de hablaros de una carta del Splinter Dragón y que me parece una buena carta debido a su coste intermedio de maná y sus habilidades que la hacen ser muy efectiva en combate.
Empecemos con su presentación.
DRAGON EGG FORAGER
The card in question is Dragon Egg Forager, a card that didn’t quite fit into my plans at lower levels. However, as I’ve gradually leveled it up, I’ve realized that it’s actually very powerful.
La carta en cuestión es Dragon Egg Forager, una carta en sus niveles bajos no terminaba de entrar en mis planes de uso pero que poco a poco y según he ido evolucionándola, he comprobado que realmente es muy poderosa.
Dragon Egg Forager is a rare card with a mana cost of 5, which is very balanced given the high mana consumption of the Dragon Splinter.
At its maximum level, Dragon Egg Forager has 5 melee attack points, 4 speed points, and 7 health points.
Now, it’s time to talk about its abilities.
Dragon Egg Forager es una carta de rareza rara, tiene un coste de 5 puntos de maná, muy equilibrado para el consumo alto que tiene el Splinter Dragón.
A su máximo nivel Dragon Egg Forager tiene 5 puntos de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, 4 puntos de velocidad y 7 puntos de vitalidad.
Y ahora es el momento de hablar de sus habilidades.
OPPORTUNITY
At level 1, Dragon Egg Forager has the Opportunity ability, perfect for targeting the opponent's weakest creatures.
A nivel 1 Dragon Egg Forager dispone de la habilidad Opportunity perfecta para atacar a las criaturas más débiles del rival.
SCAVENGER
At level 3, it will gain the Scavenger ability, which allows it to gain 1 health point for every death during the battle.
Y a nivel 3 aprenderá la habilidad Scavenger con la que ganará 1 punto de vitalidad por cada muerte en el combate.
EXAMPLE COMBAT
Dragon Egg Forager boasts incredible attack power, and when combined with the Opportunity ability, it becomes extremely dangerous. Additionally, as you’ll see in the battle I’m about to share, its Scavenger ability is ideal for battle conditions like Earthquake or Noxious Fumes.
Dragon Egg Forager dispone de un increíble poder de ataque y eso combinado con la habilidad Opportunity la hacen extremadamente peligrosa. Además como podréis comprobar en el combate que a continuación comparto, su habilidad Scavenger es ideal para condiciones de batalla como Earthquake o Noxious Fumes.

My opponent uses a strategy similar to mine, with flying cards like Pelacor Mercenary and Void Dragon.
The first turn begins, and as expected, I lose Venari Marksrat, activating its Martyr ability on Carnage Titan and Void Dragon. My opponent holds strong without any losses.
The second turn starts with Earthquake damage, which isn’t an issue for me. It’s during this turn that I gain the upper hand by taking down two of my opponent’s key creatures, Pelacor Mercenary and Mycelic Slipspawn.
In the third turn, Earthquake damage eliminates Fungus Flinger, making Regal Peryton incredibly hard to hit with 7 speed points. There are no casualties this turn.
By the fourth turn, Earthquake damage is slowly wearing down the health of non-flying creatures. I keep missing most of my attacks on Regal Peryton, and the battle is dragging on longer than expected. Here, I lose Void Dragon.
In the fifth turn, all my attacks on Regal Peryton miss, and I’m starting to get nervous. My opponent takes down Thane Newsong, and I lose my melee attack bonus.
Finally, in the sixth turn, I manage to eliminate Regal Peryton as well as Runemancer Florre, putting the battle in my favor.
Lastly, in the seventh turn, a blow from Carnage Titan ends Void Dragon’s life.
This was a battle where one of the main stars was Dragon Egg Forager, which finished with 7 health points.
Mi enemigo utiliza una estrategia similar a la mía con cartas voladoras como Pelacor Mercenary y Void Dragon.
Comienza el primer turno y como era de esperar pierdo a Venari Marksrat con lo que su habilidad Martyr se activa en Carnage Titan y Void Dragon. Mi enemigo aguanta sin sufrir bajas.
El segundo turno comienza con el daño de Earthquake que no me supone un problema. Es en este turno donde gano ventaja frente a mi enemigo al destruirle a 2 de sus principales criaturas Pelacor Mercenary y Mycelic Slipspawn.
En el tercer turno el daño de Earthquake destruye a Fungus Flinger y eso hace que Regal Peryton sea muy difícil de golpear con 7 puntos de velocidad. No hay ninguna baja en este turno.
Cuarto turno y poco a poco el daño de Earthquake esta repercutiendo en la vitalidad de las criaturas que no vuelan. Sigo fallando muchos de mis ataques contra Regal Peryton y el combate se está alargando más de lo esperado. Aquí pierdo a Void Dragon.
Quinto turno y todos mis ataques contra Regal Peryton fallan, ya me estoy poniendo nervioso. Mi enemigo destruye a Thane Newsong y pierdo mi bonificador de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo.
Ya por fin en el sexto turno destruyo a Regal Peryton además de Runemancer Florre y tengo el combate de cara.
Por último en el séptimo turno un golpe de Carnage Titan acaba con la vida de Void Dragon.
Un combate en el que uno de los protagonistas a sido Dragon Egg Forager que acaba con 7 puntos de vitalidad.
