Stop claiming your staked $SPS until you read this
Stop claiming your staked $SPS until you read this.
(Disclaimer: This is not a financial advice, I'm just trying to share something that some of you might find interesting)
All $SPS that we win go to staking after being claimed. What other players usually do is, after claiming, they go to the "unstake" tab and unstake their $SPS.
For some, they don't want to leave it there because it takes 4 weeks to get their rewards. So, every time there is an opportunity to claim SPS rewards, they will unstake it immediately.
I used to be like this before until I discovered that staking $SPS inside the game not only rewards you with $SPS daily but also rewards you with $GLX tokens that can be withdrawn from the $GLX site. Of course, you need to sign up for$ GLX before you can do this.
The team that brought us Splinterlands is the same team that developed Genesis League Sports, a gaming platform designed for soccer games.
Genesis League Sports will be launched in partnership with the Major League Soccer Players Association (MLSPA)!
My first claim of GLX amounted to 419 $GLX tokens, which is equivalent to $3+ at that time (now it s $4).
I accidentally discovered this reward when I went to Splintercards.com to use the staking calculator. I saw that there is a GLX reward, so I searched for it on Hive Engine and found out that the token belongs to Genesis League Sports. I think these were rewarded to me because I usually leave SPS staked in my Splinterlands Account.
You can choose to withdraw those GLX tokens, or you can stake them inside the Genesis League Sports Platform to earn more.
As for me, I've decided to stake a few GLX tokens in my Genesis League Sports Account until the staking rewards days is over.
As of now, the APR for staking is 101%, and this will continue for 178 days. Staking $GLX doesn't only reward you with $GLX tokens but also rewards you with $GLGT Tokens that you can transfer to your Hive Engine.
