Rare Winning Moment Against Tofu In Brawls
Let's face it! Eternal Tofu is the most OP summoner to date. Some might even say it is the most broken card ever created. That's why beating this card in a battle is the most rewarding feeling of all. And I just can't stop bragging the fact that I somehow managed to beat an Eternal Tofu deck in brawls. How did this happen and what would it take for this to happen again. Let's find out.
How Did This Happen?
In this Brawl fray, the rules are Diamond League and Modern Format Cards only.
The rulesets are Melee Mayhem, Target Practice and Equalizer. With 59 Mana limiet, the available Splinters are Water, Earth, Life, Death and Dragon.
My thinking process here involves the use of Immortalis as the summoner anticipating the use of Magic because my opponent might think I'll go all Melee with Melee Mayhem. Well, he is not quite wrong. I would use Quora in this battle, 'cause why not right? It's melee attack can attack from anywhere and it has magic and immunity. As for the Target Practice, I would bait my Martyr cards in order to boost Quora. Unfortunately, I forgot that after the first Martyr died, Quora will be the next target for the Target Practice rule. But somehow it worked out pretty well.
My opponent opted for the Iziar Martyr strategy where he would use Iziar to boost his main attackers namely RuneMancer Florre and Doctor Blight. Accompanied by Adelade Brightwing, Iziar would give the two 2x the boost in stats. Quite a good strategy indeed.
For our tanks, my opponent chose Grimbardun Smith while I chose Arkemis The Bear. In which case, my opponent got a better tank since I can't do any Halving on his Immune monster.
The battle started. Our strategies worked. His Florre and Blight got the 2x boost. My Quora got the boost the first Martyr death. At this point, I indeed made a blunder having Quora take the Target Practice target after the death of the Martyr in front of it. But something good happened.
Arkemis The Bear died. The fear that Arkemis can't kill Grimbardun came true. But this is a good thing. Now, Quora is the tank, and the ranged target is now my 2nd Martyr. This truly is a blessing in disguise.
As the battle continues, Quora finally got the double Martyr boost with some Bloodlust boost as well. And it's only a matter of time till Quora decimates the whole enemy team.

Closing
The battle itself is a roller coaster ride with both sides having their strategies work in and against their favor. How to win against Eternal Tofu. I guess it's a matter of luck and strategy. In this battle alone, strategy worked in my favor having Quora with Immoratlis as the summoner. Strong against magic and heals for every Thorn damage. Luck also plays a big factor as who would've guessed Quora will get out of the Target Practice target and win the game. In general, we can say that in order to win against Tofu, Luck and Strategy are the keys for victory.
