Here is another entry post for the Battle Mage Secrets. This time, we will talk about the Maneuvers Ruleset. I will introduce the Maneuvers ruleset first and suggest some monsters suitable for this kind of ruleset. So, without any further ado, Lezgow!
Maneuvers Ruleset
Maneuvers is one of the newest rulesets created for the game. This is why many players neglect taking advantage of this ruleset. In this ruleset, all melee units will receive the Reach ability including those who has Armored Strike ability. In case you forgot about the Reach ability, it allows your melee unit to attack when placed at the second position. So, this ability wont work when your melee monster is in 3rd to last position or a ranged/magic monster. Rest asured, when the melee monster 'reached' the second position, it can attack.
To take advantage of this ruleset, we will need monsters that has a decent attack stat or a favorable ability regardless if their health is low. These favorable abilities are Double Strike, Piercing, Armored Strike, Trample, Stun and Reflection Shield. It would also help for that monster to have a Magic or Ranged attack. Listed below are the suggested monsters that has the following properties.
Suitable Monsters for Maneuvers
| Monster | Description | Use Case |
|---|---|---|
 | Coastal Sentry | The MVP of Maneuvers Ruleset. With the use of Double Strike, this monster can wreck havoc in the second position. At higher levels it gets Piercing which damages opponents' health when their armor is less than Coastal Sentry's attack. |
 | Grund | A Double Strike beast. It got Trample and Cripple at higher levels which devastates low Health opponents. |
 | Possessed Puppet | Not as cool as Coastal Sentry and Grund but it also showcases Double Strike. Use this when your only element option is Death. |
 | Mantaroth | An Overpowered being. With Armored Strike and Repair, this thing is a total beast at the second post. Of course you gotta have a tankier first position monster or else just use this at the front. |
 | Endless Ape | It's Reflection Shield will help alleviate Blast pains. And don't forget about it's Scavenge ability. The longer that battle goes, so is Endless Ape. |
 | Ferox Defender | This one will support the tank with Armor Repair. It will also Shatter the enemy tank's armor so, it's a win-win. |
 | Grum Flameblade | Reminds you of Aggroed. Aside from that, it will demolish high mana tanks with Giant Killer and BloodLust. Just be reminded it 'always' misses. Don't know why. |
 | Jared Scar | Placing this to the second position will ensure its safety despite the low health. Bloodlust and Piercing will annihilate the opponent when given the chance. |
 | Quora Towershead | Last but not the least, our favorite BloodLust monster, Quora. Attacks with Magic and heals herself. Such a good monster. |
