Here I am minding my scholar account battles, and I remembered I got Thanalorian Blade maxed out. So I tried a few battles, and so far, the results are great. I win most of the time with Thanalorian Blade. But, why is it? Surely you know by now I am not a great battler. There must be something about Thanalorian Blade that kept me winning, right? Thanalorian Blade is an Epic Rebellion Reward Card representing the Hidden Splinter of the Leaf (Earth). At maxed level, it has 6 Mana, 4 Melee Attack, 3 Speed, 1 Armor and 6 Health. It got the abilities:

What makes Thanalorian Blade really stand out is the combination of the abilities - Trample, Opportunity and Execute. That's why it is important to max it out since Trample will be available at that level. The plethora of abilities ensures Thanalorian Blade to commit multiple attacks on the enemy line. It is like having Double Strike with certain conditions to be met.

Here is a battle showcasing how amazing Thanalorian Blade (TB) is at maxed level. It immediately showed its greatness in the first round by "executing" Aves Sturgis. This is made possible by the Shatter ability granted by Immortalis. TB broke the Shield at the first move and then activating Execute ability hence Aves was killed by the second move. It doesn't end there, TB tramples SilverBlade Fighter in Round 2 and executes Nimbledook Explorer in Round 3. But wait there's more, at the last round, TB gives the final blow by executing Dr. Blight. Thanalorian Blade carried the whole team to victory by dominating the whole battle.

Thanalorian Blade is really a fun card to use specially with Immortalis as the summoner. Being a Rebellion Card, it can dominate the next Modern format rotation with Rebellion summoners like Eternal Tofu, Risqruel Drath and CHuul Jujinchi.
