When thinking about Trample, we always thought of Water Splinters such as Possibilus The Wise and Diemonshark. We forget the other splinters possessing some underrated tramplers that has more useful cases and abilties. Re-introducing Grund - an Earth Splinter with Trample, Double Strike and Cripple abilities. Let us discuss its use case and feature a battle with it.

Trample ability allows the monster to attack enemy in the next position when it kills the monster before it. This gives the monster a possible extra attack. In Stampede ruleset, Trample works continuously as long as the monster kills the enemy line. One thing to remember for Trample ability, it only works for Melee attack. Magic and Ranged attackers that has been granted a Trample ability will not work. It can, however, work for Armored Strike as it is considered a Melee attack. For monsters with Execute ability, Execute occurs only once regardless if the 'trampled' enemy has 2 or less Health. Double Strike will only trigger Trample only once. Meaning, when the first attack triggers Trample, the second attack will not trample the next enemy even if it kills the enemy before it.

Grund is an Earth monster with 10 mana, 4 Melee, 3 Speed and 13 Health at maxed level. It has Double Strike, Trample and Cripple.

The battle features Grund in his not so glorified form. But his Trample helps the team defeating some foes winning the battle in the process.
