I could remember the times when Wands Out is the ruleset, I always use Djinn Oshannus of Water splinter. It is the best tank against Magic attackers because of Phase and Void. It also has Forceshield that reduces the damage from 5+ attacks. But since we all know that Chaos Legion will be out of the Modern format soon, what could replace this card? Introducing Warborn Shaman. One of the incoming Hall of Legends card releasing with Fizbo The Fabulous. Let us see the stats of this card and dissect the abilities it has stored for us.

Warborn Shaman is a Rare Water/Death card with 10 mana. At Maxed level, it will have 3 Magic attack, 3 Speed, 4 Armor, 8 Health and a bunch of abilities. With stats alone it will be a viable tank for all magic ruleset. It's ability Void Armor enables its Armor to ward off magic attacks. And that's not all, it has so many abilities that would make it a formidable unit.

Overall, Warborn Shaman is a great addition to both Water and Death splinter. Although susceptible to Giant Killer, its Void Armor and Heal can help it sustain itself.
