Did SIM token just die? Sinks to 0.00018 HIVE

SIM Token Just Took a Nosedive

When HIVE goes up in value, of course people sell off as quickly as possible. But considering the daily return that comes with a large SIM holding, you would think people wouldn't sell of so quickly!

It's likely SIM will rebound, but remember when it first started? SIM was pegged to 0.005 HIVE each. Over the years it dropped to 1/10 that price at about 0.0005 and has remained fairly stable around that pricepoint.

But plumetting down to 0.00018 is devastating. Now might be a good time to pick up some SIM tokens at a phenomenal price. Only a couple hundred HIVE to become a SIM MILLIONAIRE!

Thankfully this is not the end of the SIM token, people will scoop up this gaming asset very quickly and the price will recover.

Question is, what will be the "new norm" price for SIM?

Read this and of course went to see if I could pick up some super cheap sim and it's already recovered quite a bit. Things move fast!

Thanks for sharing.

That was my conclusion, but I didn't expect it to bounce back so quickly, goes to show how desirable the token really is! Might still get some for 0.00035 or so. If you stack 8000+, once your 30 day average is 8K you'll start getting daily hive dividends! SIM POWER!

Excellent you'll be in the millionaires club soon! Once your sim power reaches 1M, enroll in the club for daily students for your city!

I actually only have a very small city as I didn't really get how to build one that made much money. But maybe I'll have another go with the daily students thing. Price of SIM has gone up quite a bit now but I'll leave my low ball buy-order up and no doubt at some point it will get filled!

I am holding 100k SIM and getting a daily dividend of around 0.04 $HIVE. I will keep holding the SIM. However, the dCity game is dead I think.

However, the dCity game is dead I think.

Not as much as Splinterlands with the nearly worthless rewards nowadays for spending many hours per day playing the game, and being in the top 6000 Splinterlands players.

I have never played Splinterlands. Actually, I am not good at playing online games. Joined dCity and initially looked easier for me. And was getting a good amount of SIM daily. Then came the high tax era. And new updates with a lot of new cards, a lot of calculations. I lost track and stopped looking at the city. The only thing I was getting was 0.01 or a similar amount of hive per day for holding 30k plus SIM.

Seeing the craze about Splinterlands and some big names playing the games, I thought it was very much an Ok game until you wrote here something on the contrary!

Keeping eyes and ears open to see how all of these turn out!

Thanks for the comment.

Other than the daily dividends, I don't really pay much attention to dCity. After all the taxes happened, I think a lot of people saw how the returns dropped.

The daily pool is 178 HIVE to pay as the holding rewards. Where is that coming from?
I think some people (newcomers to the games?) are paying attention and buying the cards not knowing about the high taxes! Or knowingly! Foolish act!!

The price has already recovered so it's a bit too bad. I was going to buy some to get some more SIM back from the daily dividends.

Yeah it looks like it was a very short lived dip (albeit a deep one!)

Have a great day!
