Hi everyone! I'm @instamental your gracious game advisor (not financial advice heh). In this post I will be show casing the amazing Splinterlands card "TIME MAGE".
The TIME MAGE is a great card that has an important ability at level one being slow and rust at level 5. Slow is such an important ability as the white team has many slowish monsters. The rust ability works well when combined with slow and Sloan with archery monsters.
This battle shows a gold league level battle of 22 mana cap with healed out and no melee monster rulesets. The splinters allowed are fire and life. My set up with armour up, magic reflect, amplify, redemption, slow, rust and Dr. Blight is a perfect set up. You really need to watch this one play out to believe the how the battle finishes :)

Summoner
SLOAN is a great Chaos legion rare summoner so far. +1 archery is amazing and underrated for only 4 mana and the life splinter has excellent monsters to play Sloan although speed can be a weakness for the team.
Position 1
The PELACOR CONJURER is a super heavily stated tank for 2 mana with flying, magic reflect and divine shield. 5 speed and 7 HP for 2 mana is crazy good by itself but the flying and magic reflect make it deadly against enemy magic players especially when combined with amplify. The second position monster below is great when paired with the PELACOR CONJURER.
Position 2
DAX PARAGON is another beast of a card with great stats for 2 mana a plus affliction and amplify. Amplify increases the magic reflect damage from the conjurer by one making it an amazing two card combo.
Position 3
The TIME MAGE is the star of the show and brings good magic damage and great speed along with slow and rust which is greatly assists our slower archers by removing any armour and slowing the enemies. These abilities are almost necessary to make up for the draw backs of the other cards.
Position 4
DOCTOR BLIGHT is possibly my most played chaos legion card. While he is slow the amount of utility with 4 abilities (5 at level 4!) make him an excellent card and potential secondary tank that dishes out magic damage affliction and poison while slowly increasing his HP as enemies die due to his scavenger ability.
Position 5
The HALFLING ALCHEMIST was a special promo card that was released around the bitcoin halving. It is the only card to have the Halving ability and it also has redemption at level 4. It can be a bit slow but it has alot of value in many situations.
Position 6
The TOWER GRIFFIN is the anchor of the team and he's there to soak any of the potential sneak damage and provide some armour to my monsters. He has good stats for the mana and the flying makes him more evasive when being attacked by those pesky sneak monsters.
