Introducing Artsquares 1-49 – From Spaceship to a DJ and a House

I had a pretty squary idea. Artsy squares that you can arrange, turn and combine as you wish and display the final result the same way as you would display the original art. In this case a Spaceship, DJ, Switchboard, Art Invader, Art Gear and a House. If you own the piece, you can reassemble the ready made bigger piece by leaving something out or adding a piece or several from another Artsquares work. And all the pieces are unique!

How, what, where?
Other than the house below, you can get the Artsquares from my gallery in NFT Showroom and Palnet.io. There's only two in Palnet and for now I'm not planning on minting more there, so now and in the future too, most of the Artsquares are in NFT Showroom. And the free ones are in random pages which I own or manage. Or by any means, can squeeze a square there.

Where can you play with the Artsquares?
You can reassemble the pieces over there for instance: https://www.insaneworks.fi/artsquares. In Artsquares site you can turn and move the pieces, nothing else. And of course save the final result.

Or you can use your own program or app. It's up to you. In which you can do what ever you like with the pieces, flip them horizontally or vertically, especially if you're the kind of person who likes to cheat in puzzle or hates Legos or similar pieces so much that if it doesn't fit you make it fit. With a file or a hammer. Or if the Lego piece is wrong color or misses any markings on it that you wish was there, you paint on it. Go ahead. I'm not there to stop you. But I'm just saying. You've all seen the locomotivehorse. And others like it. Neat when done properly but cheating just to fit that one special piece... well... it's cheating. But again, it's your decision. I may own my art but once it's out of my hands, I can only ask politely, not completely control all the stuff that happens to it.

Go ahead and right click on the House pieces (numbers 47 & 48), they are free squares because everyone should have their own house. Don't say I never gave you anything, I gave you a house!

The pieces are like a puzzle. There are only three points on each side where the white line can end and only the white line. If the white line doesn't go all the way to the side, it's black. That determines what kind of piece you can combine with it. Just like domino pieces. Here's an example. Let's call it the Impossible Piece because for now I have no other piece that it could be combined with, other than itself, if you follow the rules that is.

Oh and oops, there I went again and gave you one more freebie. The impossible piece. Right click and it's yours to play with. Artsquare number 49.

But again, as I've said, it's up to you how you want to combine the squares.

But if you do follow the rules when combining the Artsquares, there's still plenty of options to mess around with. Like the DJ & Switchboard.

Now you're thinking that what about numbers 1 to 40? Well, there is still that huge thingy thing right at the top of this post. That enormous pole that in my opinion looks very much more like a Spaceship or a rocket than one certain millionaires spaceship ever looked like. I mean a spaceship needs to have a pointy head. A sharp, pointy head. What is left? The two pieces that are in Palnet. Those pieces are the opposite of the impossible piece. There's only black on each side so it's really easy to just stick the pieces in almost any available spot. Numbers 45 and 46.

Palnet doesn't have an unlockable file option so the original piece is the thumbnail and the thumbnail is the original. You can get it by right clicking, even without buying, but if you do, you know what you've done.

I guess it's cool to be able to verify by blockchain that you own a piece, that particular edition of it, even though there are several ways to just take things from the internet simply by clicking, some may get mad, some don't care that much, some may even laugh about it. But what's even cooler is that buying an NFT from an artists IS directly supporting the artist. And saying to others that you've purchased something from that certain artist, is really cool because then you're promoting the artist. But what's cooler than cool, unquestionably awesome is the fact that when you sell the work of that certain artist who you've supported, the artist gets a cut from that secondary sale. And that is something that usually isn't done or just doesn't happen with traditional art.

That. Is. Cool.

The unlockable file in NFT showroom is a pdf file that contains a link where you can download a zip file that contains the ready made piece and all the Artsquares needed for that particular art. I was hoping that the zip file could be the unlockable file, but for now the only option is a pdf file. If you don't trust me, don't click the link. Do not even hover over it. Oh okay, you can hover but don't click it. Contact me, prove that you've bought my art and I'm sure we can figure a way for me to send you the art without you clicking any suspicious links. Totally understandable if you don't want to click anything, anywhere.
