Discovery - Immutable X & Guilds of Guardians - Introduction and setup [IT/EN]

Oggi vi voglio parlare di un progetto che forse conoscete o avete comunque sentito nominare più volte di me: Immutable X.
Essendo relativamente nuovo nel mondo delle blockchain per me questo nome non voleva dire assolutamente niente (come è stato per Gala, MOBOX etc..) ma per mia fortuna @stefano.massari mi ha illuminato su quello che era il mondo di Ethereum prima dell'avvento dei layer2, i bridge e le cross-chain. Da quello che mi ha narrato è venuto fuori che la suddetta Immutable X è la fondatrice del famoso gioco Gods Unchained (che per me è ancora solo leggenda, mai provato e mai indagato visto le noie causate dalla rete di Ethereum). Allora ci siamo detti: "diamo un'occhiata a cosa stanno progettando!"; ed ecco qua un po' di notizie e soprattutto la guida per poter accedere al marketplace.

Today I want to talk to you about a project that you may know or have anyway heard of more times than me: Immutable X.
Being relatively new in the world of blockchain for me this name meant absolutely nothing (as it was for Gala, MOBOX etc. ..) but fortunately for me @stefano.massari enlightened me on what was the world of Ethereum before the advent of layer2, bridges and cross-chain. From what he told me it turns out that the aforementioned Immutable X is the founder of the famous game Gods Unchained (which for me is still only a legend, never tried and never investigated given the troubles caused by the Ethereum network). So we said to ourselves, "let's take a look at what they're planning!"; and here's some news and especially the guide to be able to access the marketplace.
IMMUTABLE X
La Immutable X, famosa come già detto per aver creato Gods Unchained, oggi non si presenta più come produttrice di giochi bensì, e potrete vederlo nel loro sito, come il "primo layer2 per NFT di Ethereum". Questo dà già in partenza un altro approccio al nome Immutable X, di fatto stiamo non stiamo per entrare in un gioco ma stiamo per entrare in un altro network in grado di comunicare con Ethereum (come potrebbero essere Polygon o Celer). Ma ora andiamo a fondo e vediamo cosa ci aspetta sul loro sito.
Come prima cosa assicuriamoci di avere il nostro wallet di Ethereum aperto (io come sempre ho utilizzato MetaMask, fedelissima volpe!) e colleghiamoci al sito della Immutable X. Una volta collegati possiamo dare un'occhiata alle varie pagine per farci un'idea sul progetto, dopodiché clicchiamo su START TRADING (1) per poter accedere al marketplace della piattaforma.
Immutable X, famous as already mentioned for creating Gods Unchained, today no longer presents itself as a game producer but, and you can see it on their site, as the "first layer2 for NFT of Ethereum". This already gives another approach to the name Immutable X, in fact we are not about to enter a game but we are about to enter another network that can communicate with Ethereum (as could be Polygon or Celer). But now let's get to the bottom of this and see what awaits us on their site.
As first thing let's make sure we have our Ethereum wallet open (I as always used MetaMask, faithful fox!) and connect to the Immutable X site. Once connected we can take a look at the various pages to get an idea about the project, after which we click on START TRADING (1) to access the platform's marketplace.
HOME PAGE
Ora ci troviamo nella homepage del MARKETPLACE! Nel riquadro bianco ho evidenziato alcuni degli articoli che possiamo scambiare su questa piattaforma, in rosso noterete Guilds of Guardians del quale parliamo oggi, in verde, e questo mercato interesserà a molti, Gods Unchained! Ma prima di poter procedere con i nostri acquisti dobbiamo collegare il nostro wallet alla piattaforma, andiamo quindi a cliccare su Connect Wallet (2) in alto a destra.
We are now in the homepage of the MARKETPLACE! In the white box I have highlighted some of the items that we can trade on this platform, in red you will notice Guilds of Guardians of which we speak today, in green, and this market will interest many, Gods Unchained! But before we can proceed with our purchases we need to connect our wallet to the platform, so let's go click on Connect Wallet (2) in the upper right corner.
SETUP (MetaMask)
Una volta che avremo cliccato su Connect Wallet si aprirà una finestra pop-up che ci chiederà di collegare e successivamente firmare il nostro wallet ad Immutable X (3 e 4). Questo breve procedimento farà si che il nostro MetaMask collegato alla rete Ethereum principale sia in grado di lavorare direttamente sul layer2 senza dover impostare il network nella nostra estensione di MetaMask. Vedremo di seguito che non è l'unica cosa che comporta.
Once we click on Connect Wallet a pop-up window will open asking us to connect and subsequently sign our wallet to Immutable X (3 and 4). This short process will cause our MetaMask connected to the main Ethereum network to be able to work directly on layer2 without having to set up the network in our MetaMask extension. We will see below that this is not the only thing it entails.

Per prima cosa voglio mostrarvi i due marketplace più succulenti!
First, I want to show you the two juiciest marketplaces!

Gods Unchained
Ora non ci resta che procedere con gli acquisti (o quasi!). Andiamo quindi nel mercato che preferiamo (io come da titolo sto approfondendo l'indagine su Guilds of Guardians quindi sono giunto fin qui per poter acquistare un eroe di questo gioco in fase di lancio).
Una volta scelto l'NFT che desideriamo acquistare clicchiamoci sopra e ci verrà aperta la pagina con le specifiche di questo articolo, possiamo notare nell'immagine successiva che sebbene possediamo degli $ETH su MetaMask il nostro saldo Immutable X è a zero (5). Infatti Immutable X richiede il versamento dei fondi all'interno della piattaforma essendo questa un layer2, non possiamo quindi acquistare direttamente con gli $ETH del nostro wallet MetaMask ma dobbiamo trasferirli all'interno di Immutable X prima di poterli spendere.
Clicchiamo quindi su Deposit ETH (5, la freccia verso il basso) e ci si aprirà una finestra per il trasferimento (6) dove potremo scegliere quanti $ETH trasferire da MetaMask (A) al conto di Immutable X (B). Scegliendo continua e dando l'ok alla transazione dal nostro wallet MetaMask completeremo il versamento dei fondi e saremo davvero in grado di fare acquisti e vendite all'interno del marketplace!
Now all we have to do is proceed with our purchases (or almost!). Let's go to the market that we prefer (as per the title I'm investigating Guilds of Guardians so I came here to buy a hero of this game at launch).
Once you have chosen the NFT you wish to purchase click on it and it will open the page with the specifications of this article, we can see in the next image that although we have $ETH on MetaMask our Immutable X is at zero (5). In fact, Immutable X requires the deposit of funds within the platform, since it is a layer2, so we cannot buy directly with the $ETH of our MetaMask wallet but we have to transfer them within Immutable X before we can spend them.
We then click on Deposit ETH (5, the down arrow) and a transfer window will open (6) where we can choose how much $ETH to transfer from MetaMask (A) to the Immutable X account (B). Choosing continue and giving the ok to the transaction from our MetaMask wallet will complete the transfer of funds and we will really be able to make purchases and sales within the marketplace!
CONCLUSIONI
Non conoscere personalmente Gods Unchained mi ha fatto partire senza pregiudizi, dopo che ne sono venuto a conoscenza ho pensato che la Immutable X non si trova nella posizione di potersi permettersi un flop, quindi ripongo molta fiducia nel progetto di Guilds of Guardians che da l'impressione di essere molto sostenuto e ben architettato. I costi di ingresso partono da un minimo di 0.025 $ETH per l'eroe più basilare. Staremo a vedere gli sviluppi di questo progetto e nel frattempo se avrà anche una ripercussione positiva sul già famoso Gods Unchained. Resto in attesa di capire come si svilupperà il gioco e soprattutto il play2earn visto che la piattaforma lancerà anche un suo nuovo token!
Voi cosa ne pensate? C'è già qualcuno, in particolare che ha giocato a Gods Unchained che utilizza questa nuova piattaforma di Immutable X ?
Not knowing Gods Unchained personally made me start off with no preconceived notions, after I learned about it I figured Immutable X is not in a position to afford a flop, so I'm putting a lot of faith in the Guilds of Guardians project which gives the impression of being very sustained and well thought out. Entry costs start as low as 0.025 $ETH for the most basic hero. We'll see how this project develops and in the meantime if it will also have a positive spin on the already famous Gods Unchained. I remain waiting to see how the game will develop and especially the play2earn since the platform will also launch its own new token!
What do you think about it? Is there anyone in particular who has played Gods Unchained already using this new Immutable X platform?

Post capolavoro! Io ho fiducia nella IMMUTABLE X, ha preso tante di quelle legnate che per me ha imparato tantissimo... ha imparato cose che altre case produttrici di gaming non possono aver ancora imparato. Le due cose primcipali che hanno capito secondo me sono le seguenti:
1-Le transazioni nel gaming devino avere tasse bassisime e andare alla velocità della luce, alteimenti non serve produrre un gioco
2-Tenere in considerazione il gaming su mobile.
Con Guild Of Gardians a me sembra che la IMMUTABLE X abbia cercato di soddisfare in pieno queste due condizioni.
La seconda credo che sia in progetto, c'è un video di un gameplay alfa nella loro home impostato come se fosse su dispositivo mobile. La prima non è del tutto vera, ossia: abbiamo ancora le fee e la lentezza di Ethereum per depositare all'interno di Immutable X, ma una volta che il credito è nel layer2 mi è sembrato molto reattivo e con costi decisamente ridotti.
Bene... inizialmente la IMMUTABLE non credo pensasse che il problema fee diventasse così serio, poi sono stati “costretti” a creare questo layer 2... credo che su quel layer le cose andranno decisamente meglio

Umm purtroppo non ho compreso la domanda... puoi formularla diversamente?
di solito quando vengono messi i titoli nel post dovrebbe comparire un menù a tendina sul lato sinistro che funziona come indice, così si può saltare da un paragrafo all'altro
