Today is a special day as this marks the first time our burn post received enough attention to finally buy and burn a legendary. In the past we have been stuck with burning commons and rares, but recently and coinciding with the current crypto pump, I think we might see more legendary on the burn list more often.
So, this is a great milestone and I look forward to seeing more higher quality cards being thrown in the fire - hopefully, one day we will see a gold foil legendary burn, but for now - I am excited to announce...

Final Thoughts on SCORCH FIEND

If you have read any of my previous final thoughts on cards we burn then you would know that I like 1mana cards a whole lot. So if we talk about a zero mana cost card, these are as the name suggests, legendary cards - Amazing. These zero mana cost cards are must-owns for most battles in the low to mid-range mana limits.
This guy can tank any and all hits - 1 time - and can be a game changer in many battles for just that reason. Sometimes you just need a cheap card to take that damage meant for your main front-line monster and simply die right away... and you really can't get much cheaper than zero.
But these legendary zero cost cards are even more than that if you can upgrade them fully as they get an ability at max level. Scorch fiend here has demoralize (-1 to enemy melee attack) at max level. So instead of letting this guy die right away, using him in a latter position and letting him live can also be a strategy at the highest of level gameplay.
Pretty dang epic card and a great card to burn in the furnace!

How Splinterlands furnace works

It is very simple process with the goal of lowering the supply and increasing value of splinterland cards.

• Vote on my Burn posts
• I will use all the liquid reward payouts to swap into DEC and purchase and burn splinterlands cards.
• The more votes the posts get, the better quality cards we can burn!
• I will keep the HP rewards that are automatically powered up
• As this account gains more voting power, I will most likely delegate it to a splinterlands curation bot.

The more cards we can burn, the more everyone wins!
