Engagement: A Way to Drown Fear

With all that is happening around the markets (crypto, stock, commodities etc), there's no denying that everyone of us is affected one way or another. It is shocking enough to deal with the skyrocketing prices of things and then came the crash in the crypto and stock markets and everything seemed to have come altogether to test us out.

Can we survive all of these?

Of course we can. We did it in the past and we sure can today and tomorrow even. The question is, will you be amongst those who win?

It's often said, nothing is permanent and so as this circumstances. We will get to see the light of day as long as we hold on tight and try our best to not get affected too much. And one way to do that is by making ourselves busy (literally) and be productive.

I was reading some comments earlier today and I learned that one of the best ways some people employ to get their heads off the brutality of the market is getting engaged. No, not getting engaged to be married but upping their engagements or interactions here in the blockchain.

Although talking about how the markets are behaving cannot be avoided altogether and still often mentioned in the comments and on posts, the fact that we can find people who can put some sense into us helps in controlling the fear that whether we admit it or not, still keeps lurking everywhere around.

I must confess that some years back, I was one of those who got inactive when the market dwindled down and because of that, I missed a lot of opportunities then. I have learned my lesson from those years and I'm not going to repeat the same mistakes this time so I'm staying put. Just glad to be around here in the Hive blockchain at this point in time because it keeps me "stick" around and keep grinding.

The good thing about getting engaged is that we gain a whole lot more, not just in monetary aspects. And those who recognize the opportunity gets ahead and are rewarded enormously.

It's all about building relationships, growing network, learning and of course the earning follows.

Today, I woke up to another 100LEO on my wallet, thanks to Khal. His challenge is still up so it's one of the best ways to stay busy and productive. So if you are just peeking around not knowing how to start, I urge you to go to the comment boxes of the posts you read and start engaging. Leave meaningful comments or ask relevant questions and build from there.

The rewards are a bonus motivation actually. It's one thing I learned here to not focus mainly on the rewards or earnings but on creating or providing value first, enjoying the process of getting yourself out there and before you know it, the rewards have followed you.

Prior to this morning, I have no idea where or how to track how I'm doing in the LeoFinance community, but thanks to engaging, that's something I learned today. And that is by reading not only the reply to my own comments but also that of the others.

And so I say the comment section is one of the best places to find gems and information. As TM mentioned on his post "The Real Value of Leo Finance" that information is a valuable commodity and we sure want to have more of it because it's very much useful in our day-to-day endeavor.

The reason engagement is being encouraged all throughout Hive is that it helps continually build the community and its growth means ours too, we all benefit from it not only today but in the long run.
