Today, I’m thrilled to invite you to the personal art exhibition "Fabulario", held at the Azagaya Gallery in the city of Ciego de Ávila, Cuba 🇨🇺. This edition brings us together to showcase top-tier crafts, and the public is welcome to visit throughout the entire month of June. I hope you enjoy the artworks and appreciate each of these artistic designs.

Hoy tengo el placer de invitarlos a la exposición personal de arte "Fabulario", en la galería Azagaya de la ciudad Ciego de Ávila, Cuba 🇨🇺. Está edición nos convoca, al encuentro con artesanías de primera categoría, donde el público podrá visitar durante todo este mes de junio. Espero les gusten las obras y disfruten cada uno de esto diseños artísticos.
I’d like to share that the exhibition is displayed in a colonial-era building—a classic, well-preserved space designed to welcome visitors.
The solo exhibition "Fabulario" by Luis Enrique Milán Boza features drawings and ceramic sculptures. These works are centered on the plasticity of rooster physiognomy, using it as the foundation for organizing their primary figurative elements.
Les comentaré que la exhibición está expuesta en una edificación colonial, bastante clásica y bien cuidada para la atención al público visitante.
La muestra personal de Luis Enrique Milán Boza "Fabulario" está compuesta por dibujos y esculturas realizadas en la técnica de la cerámica, que se basan en la organización de las figuraciones principales a partir de la plasticidad de la fisonomía del gallo.
In these graphite drawings, the artist conveys a hidden message—one you must decipher through your own imagination. The author’s creativity shines vividly in each piece.
Todos estos dibujos de grafito, el artista expresa un mensaje oculto detrás, que debes de cifrar según tu imaginación. Se puede apreciar la creatividad del autor ante sus obras.
Now, the protagonism in both artistic techniques is given to the rooster, since it becomes the figurative pretext par excellence for the development of the unity between content and form.
It is valid to highlight the level of experimentation in the sculptural discourse because the spatial definition and the dialogue of one piece with the others is intelligent.
Fabulario is the staged fable, that is, the fabulation of reality re-created on a stage through ideas, concepts, forms, and expressive inquiries.
Ahora bien, el protagonismo, en ambas técnicas artísticas, se le concede al gallo, pues se convierte en pretexto figurativo, por excelencia para, el desarrollo de la unidad entre el contenido y la forma.
Es válido destacar, el nivel de experimentación, en el discurso escultórico porque, es inteligente la definición espacial y, el diálogo de una pieza, con las demás.
Fabulario es la fábula escenificada, o sea, la fabulación de la realidad re-creada en un escenario a través de ideas, conceptos, formas, e indagaciones expresivas.
These figures, displayed on white pedestals, stand out not only for their intricate design and polychrome finishes but also for their powerful symbolic weight. The rooster is a traditional symbol in Cuban culture, representing courage, perseverance, and a connection to the mystical.
Estas figuras, colocadas sobre pedestales blancos, destacan no solo por su elaborado diseño y policromía, sino por su poderosa carga simbólica. El gallo es tradicional en la cultura cubana, representa el coraje, la perseverancia y la conexión con lo místico.
Attractive solution is the uniqueness of each of the pieces. The sculpture exhibits different heights, as well as the treatment of the base and its subject, the rooster.
Expressions, gestures, poses, and symbolisms, Luis Enrique Milán Boza proposes us, which are manifested by the traditional resources reinterpreted by the artist, where the popular imaginary, the visual artistic creation, and the local identity are integrated.

An impressive exhibition of high artistic quality. Thanks to you, I now understand the significance of the rooster in your culture and its importance. From the moment we entered the colonial house with its front garden, you took us on a wonderful journey.
If I had to choose my favourite, I would say the painting of the rooster's eye, but I also liked all the sculptures, especially the one where the rooster moves its head. It's true that the drawings have a lot of meaning behind them. Thank you for bringing this fabulous exhibition, hugs!
