Today, I’ll show you how to make two iconic and lovable characters from the famous animated movie "Monsters Inc."—Sulley and Boo—using moldable foam clay (foam clay).

Hola!! familia @diyhub, amantes del arte y trabajos manuales. El día de hoy les enseñaré a realizar con foami moldeable (foam clay) a dos personajes principales y carismáticos de la muy conocida película animada "Monsters Inc." estamos hablando Sulley y Boo.

The reference image was taken from Pinterest, showcasing the heartwarming friendship between these two animated characters. The movie is produced and distributed by Disney and Pixar.

I was inspired to design them in foam clay because I’ve been a huge fan of these hilarious characters ever since the film’s release in 2001. I know it’s not much, but this is my way of expressing myself through art. 💙

Me inspire a diseñarlos en foami clay, pues soy muy fans de los divertidos personajes desde su lanzamiento en 2001. Sé que no es mucho, pero es mi manera de expresarme mediante el arte. 💙

In the following I will show you step by step the realization of my work. To begin with, I will mention all the materials used:

    STEP/PASO 1

    In the initial phase, I start by taking a portion of clay in blue and red colors for the body of the animated ones. Then, with his hands he molded each color into balls, giving them a curious finish.
    En la fase inicial, comienzo tomando una porción de arcilla en colores azul y rojo para el cuerpo de los animados. Luego, con las manos moldeó cada color en forma de bolas, dándoles una terminación curiosa.

    STEP/PASO 2

    Next, I’ll break down the movable parts of these animated characters—their feet, clothing, head, hair, spots, arms, and even the monster’s jars. I always pour my heart into every detail to bring them to life!
    Seguidamente, desarrollo las partes del movimiento en los animados, sus pies, ropa, cabeza, cabello, manchas, brazos, ojos y tarros del monstruo, siempre dando lo mejor de mi.

    STEP/PASO 3

    Finally, we’ll craft the eyes and add the final touches to their faces, using black and white for highlights. Then, we’ll apply a coat of acrylic clay varnish to give them a polished, original look. This part is a bit more challenging since the smaller details require extra precision when molding. But the result is worth it!
    Ya por último, realizamos los ojos y retoques finales en sus cara, utilizando los colores negro y blanco para el brillo, además pasamos a agregar una pasada de barniz acrílico clay para darle más originalidad. Este diseño es un poco más complejo, pues son más pequeñas las partes a la hora de moldear.

    It should be noted that this design was searched on Pinterest; but the realization of the animations are made by me, with dedication to make them look more beautiful in your home or bedroom.
