What is Hivefest?

Hivefest is the official annual conference for the Hive Blockchain community. This event is fundamental for the project's growth, bringing together developers, Web3 content creators, entrepreneurs, and investors from the ecosystem.

This year, 2025, marks its 10th anniversary. It is being held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 🇲🇾 from October 15th to 19th. The event is currently underway, with the goal of scheduling key topics such as the latest protocols, DApps, and technical roadmaps. Founders and community creators will be present to share their experiences within Hive.

This celebration drives the growth of the decentralized social network and blockchain for the upcoming year. 🫶

¿Qué es Hivefest ?

El Hivefest es la conferencia anual oficial de la comunidad Hive Blockchain, este evento es fundamental para el crecimiento del proyecto, donde se reúnen desarrolladores, creadores de contenidos de la web3, emprendedores e inversores del ecosistema.

Este año 2025 son sus 10 años, se celebra en Kuala Lumpur, Malasia 🇲🇾 del 15 - 19 de Octubre, actualmente se desarrolla el evento, con el propósito de agendar temas centrales como los más recientes protocolos, Dapps y hojas de rutas técnicas. Estarán presentes fundadores y creadores de comunidades para compartir experiencias dentro de hive.

Esta celebración impulsa el crecimiento de la red social y blockchain descentralizada durante el próximo año. 🫶

Next, I will show you the process of creating my work, step by step. To begin, I will list all the materials used:

A continuación les mostraré paso a paso la realización de mi trabajo. Para empezar, mencionaré todos los materiales utilizados:

    STEP/PASO 1

    In the initial phase I start by painting the base in beige color, giving a fine tone to the design. Used the 🖌 wide brush for a longer stroke and nicer finish. Always in the same direction for a curious finish.

    En la fase inicial comienzo pintando la base en color beige, dando un tono fino al diseño. Utilizó el pincel 🖌 ancho para un trazo más largo y acabado más bonito. Siempre en la misma dirección para una terminación curiosa.

    STEP/PASO 2

    Well, with the pencil ✏️ I draw the Hive logo and the NFT mascot Pudgy, making sure they are well-framed so that it will be easier for me to paint the flowerpot later.
    Pues, con el lápiz ✏️ dibujo el logotipo de Hive y la mascota NFT Pudgy, bien enmarcada y así me resultará más fácil pintar la maceta.

    STEP/PASO 3

    Once the pencil sketch is finished, we use a fine brush to paint the buildings from the official Hivefest insignia in Kuala Lumpur and the Pudgy, using white, blue, green, and red acrylic paint to make its emblem stand out.
    Una vez finalizado el proceso con lápiz, pintamos con el pincel fino los edificios de la insignia oficial del hivefest en Kuala Lumpur y el Pudgy, utilizando pintura acrílica blanca, azul, verde y roja para resaltar bien su sello.

    STEP/PASO 4

    Finally, we move on to the final touches on the penguin's eyes and the letters, adding a coat of matte acrylic varnish to give it more shine. This design is a bit more complex, as the parts to shape are smaller.

    Ya por último pasamos a los retoques finales en los ojos del pingüino y letras, agregando una pasada de barniz acrílico mate para darle más brillo. Este diseño es un poco más complejo, pues son más pequeñas las partes a la hora de moldear.

    RESULT FINAL / RESULTADO FINAL

    It's worth mentioning that this design was sourced from @hivefest; but the decoration itself was done by me, with dedication to make the cactus 🌵 look even more beautiful.
