My White Whale: The Halfling Refugee (and How I'm Trying to Level Up!)

You know how there's always that one card you just can't seem to get? For me right now, it's the Halfling Refugee. This little guy is an Epic card, and it's part of the reward cards you get from playing.

The problem is, I keep spending my Glint on Epic draws in the shop, hoping to pull it, but it just never shows up. It's super frustrating. I see this card all the time in the new meta, and seriously, sometimes it feels like the Halfling Refugee is the only reason I lose a battle. It's like it's always there, causing trouble for my team.

I even checked the market. You can buy one, but it's almost $3 USD for just one card. For me, that feels like a lot for a single Epic, especially when I'm trying to save up for bigger things like leveled-up summoners. It makes me wonder if I should just bite the bullet, but it feels expensive.

Right now, I'm mostly bouncing between Silver 2 and Silver 3. And honestly, it's tough out there! I keep running into people who have seriously leveled-up cards. I'm talking monsters way above level 1, while my own cards are mostly stuck at level 1 because of my summoner limits. It feels like a huge disadvantage in some fights.

So, speaking of leveling up, I did something big recently to try and boost my rewards. I ended up renting about 15,000 SPS. And guess what? It actually worked! I noticed my Glint rewards went up by about 100 Glint per battle, which is a 50% increase for me. That's pretty nice! It means I'll get more cracks at those Epic draws, even if the Halfling Refugee is still playing hide-and-seek.

Hopefully, this extra Glint will help me get more reward cards overall, and maybe, just maybe, that annoying little Halfling Refugee will finally show up in one of my draws. It's a constant battle, both in the arena and in the card market!
