Has Survival Mode Really Reborn Splinterlands? My Experience After Two Days of Battle!

(Edited)

Has Splinterlands Been Reborn with Survival Mode? I guess it did!

Hello splinterlands folks!

This is hossainbd on a splinterlands post after a long break. I may have missed out on so many things and updates in the past few years, especially after the last bull market. I became a busy man with all the things in real life, but today I'm here after fighting for 2 days in survival mode, and it gave me the vibe of being in the old rithm of the game.

In the past, when we were in fully excited mode, like playing live tournaments, we had fewer bots in the leaderboard and tournaments, and no battle helper was available at that time. Yeah, I'm talking about the time when we were less than 100 champion-level players and I was a scholar at that time (obviously the one who were always stuck with the game or with the card marketplaces)

After spending about 7 years in the game and community, I can clearly say that this is the best thing we got after SPS were released (you know why I'm saying this? Check your collection value; you may see the difference there), but the price has to spike today or tomorrow. What I'm talking about is the new mode, the new survival mode, which kept me there for the last days!

Why is survival mode game-changing?

Well, people like me love to play with their own strategies and on their own, because in the end, what really matters is that we are playing a game, so I need to make sure I'm having fun while playing the game, and if that earns money, that's a bonus, and after a long time in the Era of bots and auto-battlers in the wild, it gives me the opportunity to get the feelings of playing with excitement. And with the new cooldown system of cards, it makes it popular because when you play in the survival mode, you kill someone or you die, so I think everyone has the same thought as me!

Why does the collection value go up?

Well, like I said above, it has to change. I mean, splinterlands is the only game that is surviving without major support in the Web 3 ecosystem except that DHF funding, but this time it goes up because people need cards, especially summoners, everyone jumping in the market with what they need. There are a lot of key cards that need to be in your collection in order to fight in the survival mode, because sometimes even when you win, you also lose some part of your body, and you have to find out what body's part gets damage every time you fight.

How much SPS did I earn from survival mode?

I didn't get much time to play in the survival mode; I only got the last two days to play, and it was non-stop playing for 4-5 hours like the way I played before, and for that I managed to earn 5337 SPS. Yep, that's a lot of SPS when it comes to battlegrounds after tournaments. is because when you have mostly older series of cards, you might struggle to earn that much, but in survival mode, you have a higher chance of earning SPS with a mixed set of cards.

Leaderboard of the first season of Survival Mode

image.png Look at my position. Oh man, I hate this. I hate to see my name so lower in the leaderboard, but it is what it is. A few hours before the season ended, I was around a 1600-1660 rating, but in the end, I was left with just a few cards to fight against top players, especially those with all kinds of legendary summoners. but I love to play with them. This is when you can push your brain for the new technique and strategies to beat them, and that is where fun begins.

Thanks for reading! I’ll play for a few more days and publish another post about the top key cards for Survival Mode. I hope I can gather the info as soon as possible!
