Realm play-2-earn Game - Day 46 in Season 10 - and getting nice rewards !!!!

I'm continuing to really love playing the game realm, which is a world strategy/builder type play-2-earn game on the wax blockchain.

Its day 46 in Season 10 of Realm. We are just over half way through the season now with 39 days to go. I've had a pretty good week to be fair. The biggest highlight of the week was hitting level 21. The reward for hitting level 21 is a treasure token - with a random chance of standard (green), rare (blue) or epic (purple) and I pulled an epic, which I was shocked at. I then took that and blended it for a 3 star leader. You can 'blend' one epic treasure token for a 3 star leader, which basically means trade it in for a 3 star leader - nothing else needs to be added even though it is called blending. I was really lucky and got awarded a 3 star general. These are one of the more expensive leaders and provide a reduction in mission requirements making it easier to complete missions. The 3 star general gives a 9% reduction. Noting that I already have a 3 star general with caffeine equipped means that my total mission requirements reduction is now 19.9% - making missions quite a bit easier, so its already having a great effect. To add to that I've also done not too bad from ship rewards this week, getting a couple of RLM rewards and quite a few reputation rewards. So I cant complain at all.

The table above shows my progress to date (inside the red box), with my stats as of today (yellow area), compared to my stats on previous updates (white lines) and then the change since that last update (green boxes).

I've also managed to move up 6 ranks from 66th to 60th since the last update, which I'm happy about. My main aim is to stay in the top 75 in order to get better end of season rewards including a 3 star leader which will make a big difference for me. That is now beginning to look more likely as long as I continue to grind the missions, noting that it does get quite competitive towards the end and I usually drop around 10 ranks the week or so before the end of season.

I've managed to pull in 3.6M reputation from missions which is what is needed to get you up levels and also ranks. At the same time in season 9 I had only pulled in 2.3M reputation, so thats over 50% more compared to last season, which is great.

The pic above shows the rankings around me. There is now 60K of reputation between me and 2 places below me (compared to just 20k last week). There is a gap of 120k to get to rank 55 - so its getting really hard to move up ranks further. I may be able to squeeze out a few more ranks before the competition kicks in for the end of season, although I cant see me getting into the top 50 where the rewards go up a gear again.

Having just passed the season half-way mark I've stopped re-investing RLM earnings into upgrades and research and as such have managed to start dumping it into staking again. I've managed to put away 2000 RLM this week which is double what I thought I would have managed thanks to some nice RLM rewards from ships and missions. That takes my total upto 37k. I'm aiming to get 50K in order to get the next staking bonus (tier 5 as above) giving a further boost to mission rewards. I really like RLM staking because it has a very nice 36.5% APR.

The new 3 star general leader was a real boost this week. That brings my tally to one 4 star leader and four 3 star leaders and then a handful of 2 and 1 stars. Its quite important for me to get more 4 and 3 star leaders to improve, so it was a real big deal. As can been seen above I have a number that are quite close to levelling up as well, which will be another nice small boost when it happens.

My plan over the coming week is as follows:

• To take advantage of the research event which spans this weekend to undertake a few final research updates. It will cost me around 200 RLM, but I'm ok with that - that will then finalise my RLM spend for the season,
• Then its grind time from there on in to the end of the season - grind the missions in order to get reputation to hold rank, hopefully RLM rewards to dump in staking, and to keep levelling up leaders.

Thats my round-up for this week. I'm really enjoying season 10 so far. This was a really good week in respect of rewards - long may it continue !
