Splinterlands I joined a Guild and you should too!
Over the past two weeks, I have joined a Guild in Splinterlands.
Why did I join a Guild?
The main reason behind this was to try something new and seeing that you could gain DEC boosts from being in a Guild, I thought- why not? I had the opportunity to join a brand new guild and thought I should try it...
How is it going so far?
So far the experience has been positive and the people have been very helpful, supporting one another and offering to delegate cards to one another as well. Whilst I am not yet in the position to do this, it is my intention to do so later down the line. I have been promoted to Senior Member of the Guild. I have been quite active and have been making as many contributions as I can afford to the Guild Hall. There is a good variety of members in our Guild and we are hoping to expand soon.
What awaits you in a Guild?
Upon joining the Guild, I found a number of messages in the Tavern area which is a place to find general private discussions amongst your guild. I took a look through the various different options and began to contribute as best I could toward the levelling of the Guild Hall. The Guild Hall is vital to the success and expansion of a Guild as the max level determines a couple of different things.
- The maximum number of Guild Members
- The maximum level of all Guild Buildings.
The initial levelling of the Hall did not take too long with a rather generous donation from our Guild Leader helping to push us to the next level after a good round of contributions. In addition to the Hall, there are the following;
- Lodge
- Arena
- Barracks
- Store
Each of the different Buildings offers a range of boosts and benefits and the collaboration of different members is vital to ensure success.
Brawls, Brawls, Brawls
Our Guild Leader signed us up for a brawl and I have been taking part so far. Whilst the brawl has not yet finished we find ourselves in first place, albeit very early in the process. Our current record is 12-9 overall. I am still waiting on most of my frays to complete as I have already submitted my teams.

(I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised but I am realistic enough to know that we may not place too highly at this stage.)
The real question for me:
Has joining a Guild enriched my Splinterlands experience?
YES! It has opened me up to social interactions amongst other like minded individuals and with a range of members in our Guild there is help and advice there ready and waiting.
Would I recommend a Guild?
YES
If you haven't joined a Guild I would really recommend it. I joined a Guild for the DEC % boost and found myself improving my experience overall. I am working as part of a team to achieve something bigger and better and my enjoyment of the game has increased. I'd highly recommend joining if you haven't already.
Try out Splinterlands here today!
If your not in a guild your really missing out. Additionally, guilds will play a larger role in the game as it expands with land implementation etc. If you are a med-high ranked player we are on the lookout for a new member. Look for guild All For One - One For All and request membership.
